  9. Oh, no... absolutely the ultimate way to make asparagus scream is to barely rub it with olive oil, salt and pepper. Then gather it into bundles of about four spears, wrap each bundle with a slice of bacon and throw it on the grill. When the bacon is cooked, the asparagus will be done to the tender crisp stage. It is delicious.

    But wear your earmuffs because throwing it on the grill.... well, the screams are truly pathetic.
