"Chucky! Dude! You got out and got a dreaded ferocious crawly creature!? My Mom won't let me out to check around here but it's not for my lack of trying.
Maybe lay low for a while to let your Mum's nerves ease up huh? Then you can bring her another present,I'm sure she loves it!"

Moonshadow the cat here.Chucky, so you felt the call of the wild surge up and you acted on it huh? Wow, I'm impressed. I'm allowed out most of the time but Mum likes me to be inside at night. We don't have scary crawley things like you talked about unless you count the dreaded Weta. Ask your Mummy if she will sit outside with you in the sfternoon some time but you have to promise to come inside when she tells you or she'll get all angry and if she had a tail it would go puffy. Congrats on the kill.

Oh, Chucky, you shouldn't go outside without your mama to watch over you. There's bad things outside that can hurt you. Once, our sister Suede snuck outside and she had to climb up on the neighbour's roof 'cause a big hungry coyote wanted to eat her.
Just look out the window and think about being outside, but don't go out there without your mama.

P.S. we sometimes sneak into the garage but then daddy yells at us and scoots us back in the house.

Moms not affraid of any animals other than the raccoons, But her biggest fear is we live on a busy road, I tried to tell her I will not go there, But she said that's what Noah(my grandbrother)said and he got hit and killed by a car. So, Mom says no way! I really want to go see the big truck who steals our garbage. I'm with Lady dog on this one how dare they steal our stuff!!

Hey Chucky, Moonshadow here again, my mummy is putting some heavy tree stuff on the hot burny thing I sleep by. Anyway, that big truck that steals your garbage comes here too. I see mum put all these yummy white bits off the meat into the big white cold box and after seven dark times she puts them all in a bag and sticks it out by the road that I'm not allowed near. Those yummy bits are hard, cold and don't smell anymore so I don't try to get at them. I wonder if that truck is the one you see too. Here she comes, byeeeeeeeee

Tessie here, Chucky humans are strange at the best of times. Let me tell you my story. Yesterday Meowmy had a salad delivered to her all colorful and crunchy. She admired it profusely and sat it on the table but she didn't take a bite not one. I jumped up to have a bite it looked so good and she yelled at me and moved it to another shelf. Muttering about how she could never have flowers because we are all so bad. I was indignent I tell you but I let it go because she has been awfully sick a worry to us nurse kitties. Later she seemed to have forgotten about it so I took a little climb thinking to have a bite and she caught me and moved it again complaining how she can't even see it now. Why doesn't she just eat it

Tessie, Our caretakers are very odd. They won't eat flies, they don't like mice, they don't understand the fascination we have with bugs, they want to sleep all night instead of running around. In short, humans aren't cats.
The best you can do is just to believe that your Meowmy's salad gives her pleasure just to look at. You can't eat it until she gets tired of it and throws it out. Then it's up for grabs. (You do know how to open the trash container, yes?)

Tessie here, I can get to it them but it does lose some of its freshness by the time Meowmy is tired of looking at it and I am not a patient cat I want what I want when I want but I will try to be patient. We were worried she left and said I'll see you guys later and never came home then SHE came. SHE always takes care of us when Meowmy is gone. We don't approve of HER but thats another story. Anyway, she fed us and took the dog with her nice respite from HIM if you ask me but we sure didn't know what was going on. Meowmy was gone for 3 days and they were long days.

Chucky here! Guess what? I like watermellon it is soo good! Mom was cutting up one and a piece fell on the floor and I was right there(Not the stupid Lady Dog)Mom went to pick it up and I was sniffing it and I took a bite. It was soo good Mom laughed and said I was a strange cat. My human sister came in and Mom told her that I ate watermellon, She didn't believe it so she went into the cold white box and came out with more of the watermellon and I ate it!! They were both shocked, So Mom offers it to my sisters Tonka and Tess They didn't want anything to do with it even Lady dog wouldn't eat it so I got it! It was sooo good! Hey do watermellons grow outside?

My Pretty Girl loved watermelon until she made herself sick on it and then she couldn't stand it. A lot of cats like canteloupe and tomato products, too--

Chucky here! What's a tomato??

Chuckster,
Avoid tomatoes, they are truly bad cat karma for some of us. They are big, red, go in salads and lasagna and spaghetti, and can make you very sick. Some cats eat them with no side effects, but not all of us are lucky.
Also, if you try to go outside again, you may have a hard time finding your way back. Please try to stay inside. No self-respecting cat can understand Stop signs or traffic lights, and arguing with coyotes and bad dogs is futile. Don't get us started on owls.
There is, however, a chipmunk in our neighborhood with R&R written on him. But the screen door leading out to the patio is never opened long enough or wide enough for us to slip through and chastise the little oaf.
Our mommy says frustration builds character.
We have a lot of character.
And a lot of respect and affection for you, lad! We salute you as a ferocious guardian of the home turf and dub you Mole Slayer.
Best regards,

Molly here--another human problem. Why is it when I pull all of the socks or t-shirts out of the drawer (and I'm good at opening drawers, too) I'm a mischiefous brat but when mewomy does it she is cleaning and organizing. I'm very good at cleaning and organizing, too why doesn't she want my help? I'm perplexed

Molly: Purrhaps she is jealous about your superior organizing abilities. People are sometimes like that. I try to help my Mom with her laundry and drag - um, bring - them to the bedroom where she mostly stays. But does she ever thank me??? Some of the clothes and blankets are darn heavy but NOOOOO! There's no gratitude!!! I even heard her say I am a bad kitty!!!!!
There is a moral for you!

Miska, I'm not sure why we put up with them and their tricks sometimes. You work so hard and you aren't appreciated. I guess we'll just have to try harder. Molly

It's too hot to do anything here! Mom Put lady Dog in the pool and that stupid dog loved it! Now Mom says she's going to buy the dumb dog a life vest because she keeps jumping in the pool!! Maybe I'll put some bricks in it...

Molly here Our silly dog hates water. It can be 100 degrees out and he still likes to cuddle under a blanket. I've been known to snuggle down when its cold but I don't get him at all oh well, I guess it takes all kinds.
