  1. LOL, S & M squared, I like that. Hi SMM.
Ginny, KK had snow on the ranges behind her house last week.

  2. Wow--all we have on our ranges right now are lovebugs, bull nettles, and Mexican hats! That and grass that is overgrown because we don't have cattle anymore.

  3. Mi Hermana, Gatakitty. Hola! Commo es ta? Bien gracias. Sorry that is about the extent of my Spanish.

  5. Hey, Nightshifters!

*checking to make sure I included the f* :)

  6. Si, Mi Hermana. TGIF manana!! Cuál es un Chulita? I have the help of a online translator. I know it is cheating but it is fun.

    ROFL, FH!!

  7. If Bear sees this, I'm in big trouble! He deeply resents that he's only seen snow twice in his life--the first time when he was 1 week old, and the second time three weeks ago, when it just looked like someone with a bad dandruff problem. As it is, he talks about going to college in Michigan because "it snows there."

He just might see it, too. He's been home sick all week. He missed the Wax Museum at school--bummer.

  8. Love bugs, wonderful. checked them out on Wiki after reading the Floridians post this morning, icky yuk.
    Here is KK's city. http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/Newsroom/NewImages/images.php3?img_id=17856

  9. Tienes razón, Ginny - gracias a Dios mañana es viernes!

  10. Sorry Bear is sick. No fun missing the Wax Museum!

  11. Chances are that he'll miss a field trip tomorrow, too--a science excursion to San Felipe. That I find interesting because most people connect San Felipe with history rather than science.

Posted 4 years ago by gatakitty #

  12. What is the connection with science then GK?

  13. Cool photo of KK's city.

Posted 4 years ago by SylMiaFelixsMomma #

  14. Wellington--cool! Love the harbors and the mountains so close by--reminds me of Honolulu. At night, the city lights looked like a beautiful, sparkly necklace rising on the throat of the mountains. I'll bet Wellington is like that, too.

Howzit, FH? Three weeks and a day. Three weeks and a day. Three weeks and a day.

  15. I love the site I got it from, masses of photos from space, some taken by the astronauts on the space station or shuttles, a new photo every day.

    Posted 4 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  16. My thinking is that they will explore wildflowers there. San Felipe has some spectacular ones, in the interest of keeping the spaces wide open there. Check it out, and click on the link for "Flora and Fauna."

  17. Going to step out and eat some dinner now.

Posted 4 years ago by SylMiaFelixsMomma #

  18. Byee SMM, I will be gone by the time you get back.

    Posted 4 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  19. G'night, S and M Squared! I'll most likely be in bed when you get back.

Purrs and headbonks to the furbabies!

  20. GK--3 weeks and a day? You poor thing!

only 12 days and 2 half-days for me!!! But, who's counting?

Posted 4 years ago by FondaHonda #

  21. Wellington is very pretty but you can see the earthquake faultlines in that photo. It is also not a good city to be a furniture mover - lots of steps up and down hillsides.

Posted 4 years ago by KapitiKats in NZ #

  22. Wow, looks like a great place. What a pity Bear may miss the trip.

    Posted 4 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  23. When KK says steep she means so steep that furniture has to be carried strapped to someones back, I kid you not.

    Posted 4 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  24. A lot like San Francisco but with trees and bush between the buildings.

Posted 4 years ago by KapitiKats in NZ #

  25. FH: B**ch! ;D

KK and MS, why does that classic Laurel and Hardy film come to mind--you know, the one where they are trying to get a grand piano up an ungodly long and steep stairway to the house from the street?

Posted 4 years ago by gatakitty #

  26. Laurel and Hardy? I must be too young to remember them. LOL ! !

    Posted 4 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  27. Is it safe for me to stick my head back in the Night Shift office? (looks nervously around the door)

    Posted 4 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  28. OK, GKitty is making me suffer for my glib tongue. Oh the pain, the pain. I will return later with my head downcast, suitably remorseful.

    Posted 4 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  29. I couldn't find the exact clip I wanted, but will this do?

Sorry I took so long, was researching for your elucidation and edumication!

    This helps, too: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laurel_and_Hardy
