    The sun is trying to peak through the clouds right now and it's cool. Rain tonight and tomorrow...but I have my nephew's college graduation party to go to. He was accepted into the Master's program at the University of Iowa, but just recently decided that he's going to try to get into the officer's program for the U.S. Navy! Go Navy! My brother (his father) was career Navy, but it still came as a surprise.

    I really am "Peachy" in a good kind of way! ha-ha! Feeling happy, healthy and loving life!

    Terri, don't let that bother you. So many of us enjoy the cafe. If someone feels that it isn't up to their liking (not wanting to use an unfluffy word), then they certainly don't need to look at the cafe thread. Keep smiling! I sent you some gorgeous pictures via email to brighten your day. You can look at them when you aren't hugging baby Andy!

    Hi Ange! It's a Moomin house from Finland...we would have to get all the details from miu. She mentioned them once and I thought the house was very cute! what else is there? I had pizza yesterday...altho it WAS very good...how's work?

    Linda, thanks for asking - it's going well now I'm off work! I'll try to do as little as possible the rest of the day, and maybe hit the gym tonight when it shouldn't be too busy. I need to fix some lunch, too!

    Miu The Moomins were my favorite! Do they still show it on tv? *wonders if can find Moomin DVDs out there......*

    CatRancher - no-one should be 'jumping' on you, but if you think people are being snarky then I'd rather you didn't 'respond in kind' as you put it - these things can very easily spiral out of control, as we've seen here before - and it's nearly always best to ignore such posts, especially as the subtleties of language are often lost when written down - the person may not have even have meant whatever it is that you've taken offense to.

    This applies to everyone, of course - words should always be chosen with great care because you know how easy it is to be misinterpreted.

    Keep it fluffy.

    If we're talking classic kids TV, then surely Bagpuss is King? Having just invested in the Complete Bagpuss dvd for the bargain price of £4!!!

    My fondness for Bagpuss is well known amongst my friends, and I used to have a "squeezy" Bagpuss toy - you squeezed his tummy and he'd say "ah yes mice, I love you all". Thing is, he'd go off, untouched by human hand, at random intervals. The first time he did this was 2am - I nearly died of fright!!!

    Sadly, not that many - I am what Chris would describe as a "cheap date" - I get tipsy very quickly (but sober up quite quickly too!!!)

    But be warned : the tipsy reportoire also includes gargling any tune you care to mention...
