I think it's mean and rude that anyone should ever be driven away from a site like this. Especially warm, caring, advocates for the safe and ethical treatment of animals everywhere. I thought that was what this site was all about. It's really ok and cute that we have fun scenarios for members to share and join in some cyber play...and we have had some moments of support for helping many kitties needing adoption. I remember the Rosie brigade that was so beautifully choreographed. So...why..aren't we more outraged and upset that people like Dee and Marta and Jo from Blairsville have been pushed out. Many of you warm and expressive newcomers don't seem to realize the seriousness of this loss. I'm seeing such a decline in the topics quality and direction lately. It's so much fluffy foo foo and not much meat of the matter. That meat..was what kept bringing me back and without it..I find myself veering elsewhere. This is a sad time for TDK.

Karen--from what I recall, Jo from Blairsville had a disagreement with Instinct and left of her own accord. Dee and Catrancher have also chosen to leave and have not been "pushed out." I don't understand what has happened here today, and am deeply saddened by reading the threads, but no one has been forcefully ejected from TDK.

Well...CW..I'm not sure what you mean by forcefull ejection. You're right about Jo...The fact that Dee felt unable to stay by proxy of members reporting a topic that...really..they didn't have to read if they chose not to. The heart and concern behind all the unfluffy, unattractive stories that Dee brought about...raised the awareness of others to the things in this world that need change. What better place to touch so many animal lovers who go to such lengths to care for each others pets and personal problems. There should have been room for all. Yes...I see that they are pushed..sorry.

Sweetheart, I can understand that you're hurt and need some away time. Could you just put in for a vacation and then come back when you're rested? The situation with your darling Roo was heartbreaking, and when you go through something like that, pieces of your heart still need to return.
Please take some time for yourself, and please come back when you can. We all love you.

CR! I'm sorry you are going! And I too have felt a change in the tdk! I have seen friends driven out or just in a sense pushed out! I am truly sorry! I have seem to break times here witha few as well but it has not stopped me from visiting and making myself known and heard! I will miss all your wisdom especially since you were one of the first to welcome me into the RDk Family! I want to thank you for making a lurker and hesiyant poster feel welcome!
Also, i will miss your advice on Coon's i was hoping you and I would share much more once I got my baby! I mean I guess I kinda took it for granted you'd be here for me to ask questions!

CatRancher - I'm sorry to see you go, but I will remember you fondly. We have the common bond of love for those Maine Coons. If I remember correctly, you were one of my TDK friends who helped me tremendously when I was losing and then lost Jiggs. I cannot thank you enough for that. I've swaggered up to the Bad Cat Bar, and I hold a glass of cheer high for you. Cheers, CatRancher, and I wish all the best for you.

To all of my TDK friends who feel the need to leave us, I raise my glass in salute to you. You have all ment so much to me and I will miss you all.
I'm sorry to see that you are so unhappy here. I never thought that any of the shenanigans that happen here would come to this.
Please don't be strangers. Post or e-mail and keep in touch.
