That is wonderful...I loved the way the mama dog looked up when the kitten started to cry...

Me too, she looked just as concerned about the kitten as she would about her puppy! This is the second case like this I've heard about in a week, the other was a mama dog whose puppies had just been weened but the vet needed a mama for some orphan kittens. Doggy took them right in and it was a love fest all around. Amazing and wonderful!

So sweet! Maternal instinct is very strong in animals...we could stand to learn a thing or two once in awhile (lol) like Unconditional Love.
