   Can someone help me to get name and state and b-day in user name I've tried but it refuses to accept the change?

   Hi Elaine... Just click 'View your profile' then 'Edit'. Where is says "Nickname" just put the way you want it to read. And then bring it up to the window. After that be sure to click "Edit" again. Hope that helps

   Just to give a little more detail:

   At the top of this page (just under The Daily Kitten title) click on "view your profile." This takes you to another page that lists your e-mail address, website, etc. In the upper right corner of that page (just under the photo of the kitten), click "edit." This takes you to yet another page that lists your personal information. Immediately under your screen name is this question:
   Want to change the way your user name is displayed? Edit this and other details by clicking here. Click on any of the words in pink.

   Now you are at your personal and profile options page on WordPress. Under the Name column, you can create a nickname for yourself which might be your old screen name or something else you would like displayed when you comment. Create the name you want to display. Just beneath the nickname line is a drop down box that lets you select which name you want displayed. Select your new nickname, then click the Update profile button at the top right. You should see the nickname you selected appear the next time you comment.
