Well, its the last day of September. Where did this year go? Tomorrow is October. Time to get out the Fall and Halloween decorations. :-)

Hi, MerD! You are right. I've been noticing Christmas decorations in stores for several weeks. (I try to avoid stores during the holidays.) Thank goodness for being able to do holiday shopping online. :-)

We went out to lunch at an Italian place we both like and then I got a CD and game at Best Buy (Plain White T's: Every Second Counts and 'Fable')
Other than that, we both have some homework to do and we are still college students :) I did get hired by OfficeMax, just have to do wiz-quiz and the background.
Funny part was that the Sales manager is torn between putting me in the print shop (because of my art background) or in the computer section because I'm a big geek so I told her to just shift me around as needed. Seemed like the best answer.

KW...I know what you mean w/the decorations. At the Wal-Mart here,they've 6 full isles of Halloween decorations. They shove all the household & necessity items off into other corners of the store. It isn't the kind of place to take kids if they can't take No for an answer

Thank you everyone. I will admit that I am terrible about not telling people it's my birthday because I have never made a big deal out of it, but I figured that it would be mean not to tell you cause if I told you all later on you would be ticked at me for not saying something in the first place.
I know, I'm weird :)
The sales manager did say that she was hiring me for two reasons. One; I was older and obviously knew how to work without being told what to do, and second because I knew more about computers that the entire store combined.

Hi All,
Had a great time last night at the REO Speedwagon concert!!! It was so much fun. When I got home though, I went right to bed without feeding the dog or kitties. This is a grave sin despite the fact that there is always dry food out. They expect their wet food at 9 pm and for mom to not be out till midnight!

I spent most of the day on the couch fighting off a head cold. I hope my boss realizes how considerate I am I have my house fires on my day off and I get sick on my day off. Darn. Anyway I'll be sure to tell him. LOL I mostly read and slept I enjoy that but prefer to do without a stuffed up head. How is everyone doing

My two boys discovered TP and paper towels this week. Now everyone loves to shred paper and run around with it all over the house. I came home on THursday night to find a whole roll of papertowels shredded all over the place. Jerry sat and purred at me while I cleaned it up. He was so proud of himself (he started it all)! Little fiend!!

So far so good CatRancher. We still need to get a bunch of shelves since we both read - a LOT!
The cats are settling in but they are very irritated that they do not have a balcony to hang out on when the weather is nice. Maybe if we both are working and can afford to upgrade we may move to a larger place with a balcony... maybe

Instinct, lol you are right about not telling us its your b'day and Happy Birthday!!!! Congrats on the Office Max job, and is it any surprise that you know more than the entire store staff does (I hear a resounding NO echoing throughout space), you will do just fine wherever they put you.
Catwoman, glad you had fun @ REO Speedwagon.....you do know now that you will be at the mercy of those 'poor neglected malnutritioned' kitties...can you imagine NOT being fed wet food at all last night....trust me, mine get 1 tsp morning/evening even though they have 4 kinds of dry food out...you would think they were 'dying of starvation' if they don't get that 1 tsp every 12 hrs! And none of them weigh under 13 lbs, so you can tell about the starvation part.
