Thru the wormhole (to the beautiful left coast) they send an 8 layer crab, salmon, lobster, and tuna birthday cake with nip frosting, and two feather teasers, an extra large bag of nip mice, and two planters filled with 'nip and cat grass for Digit and Furl to share; their meowma also sends a bottle of Dom Perignon for KW and Mr. KW to help them celebrate the kits purrday ;-)

Grommet and MacKenzie love the catnip cupcakes, party hats and noisemakers, and, since it gets very hot here in San Antonio, too, they now want meowma to buy them a wading pool ;-) Many thanks to KW, Digit and Furl!! It is a lovely purrday party, and everyone is having so much fun!
(OK, KW, where did you get the kitten wading pool??? The kits will drive me crrraaazzzzyyy if they don't get one. MacKenzie is a 'water baby' already; he and Grommet have been getting a bath monthly since they were 7 weeks old, & he loves it; Grommet, not so much; she loves the big dryer-warmed towels she gets dried off with, though........ Oh, boy, I can see it coming now.... the mewling, the pouting, the sulking, the swooning and panting next to the bathtub... akkk! KW, please, you MUST tell me where I can get a kitten wading pool!)

Kittymom, the wading pool is a hard plastic pool for kids. It works fine for kitties, especially since it is not the type that has to be inflated. (Kitty claws would make short work of one of those!) Spice and Mac see each other at the party. They immediately stop talking to their friends and head for each other. Spice gets a lovely kiss on her muzzle, then he rubs his face on hers. They hold paws and look for a quiet corner where they can cuddle and talk and purr...

Rots and Ruggie sent fireworks and their favorite pyrotechnician through the wormhole for the birthday, along with a huge card for Digit and Furl. They would love to have been there, but Ruggles has been sneezing today, and his meowma isn't sure if it is allergies or a cold. "Just to be on the safe side," she told them. They were upset, but when she told them they could send the fireworks, they settled down.
The lads also send their love and best birthday wishes!

Digit and Furl are excited to about getting to see fireworks.
They settle into a lawn chair together while the pyrotechnician sets up the display. They wish Rots and Ruggie could join them and hope Ruggles is feeling better soon. They say "ooh" and "ahh" as the fireworks are set off. Finally, their eyes begin to close. KW picks them up gently and carries them off to bed.
