  1. My kittie, Rocky is sick :(
But thankfuly, we took him to the vet and he is now on anibiotics and is WAY better than he was this morning! (This morning he would growl if I touched his hind legs, because they were very swollen from his sickness) The vet even said this was the highest fever he has ever seen in a cat! I'm just glad Rocky is showing improvments. :) Hes even purring now and he could walk, but it still hurts him when I pick him up.

He is doing WAY better now :D

  6. Welcome to TDK!
Sounds like Rocky rocks. Very best wishes to him and you from Lisa, Misty and CJ.

Catwoman, I went to Catster to see your amazing Rocky who lived 18 years!! But either no Rocky or I'm discombobulated (not only possible, but likely). Is he there?

  13. Welcome to TDK, catfancier! How is Rocky doing today? Did the vet have any idea how Rocky became ill? Was it an infection from a wound? Poor kitty! I'm glad he is a tough little guy and doing better! :D

  15. Rocky is doing Great today! He is back to his old self again and is once again jumping off the walls. The painters are painting my house right now and I think he might of gotten into the paint(I tried to keep him and his sister downstairs while they were painting, but the painters probably let them back up.) He also has a sister (Macey) shes taking care of him right now, covering him with licks. ^-^
    Thanks for the welcomes!!

  17. Ha ha, I remember the utter insanity of painting our kitchen within a few weeks of Pickle & Button coming to live with us. Glad to hear Rocky's so much better today, give him a head scratch from me!

  20. One of my cats drank some paint, but no adverse effects. However, I always have feline assistants when I do any repairs/renovations/home decorating. For example, I painted my kitchen a few years ago, and my black Bombay, Baby Rotley, helped out magnificently.

At 2 AM on a Sunday morning, I had finished putting the final coat to the walls after working several days to strip off ancient wallpaper and repair all the dings and tears. I stood in the middle of the kitchen, so proud I could burst, and I heard Rotley purring loudly at my feet. The little fellow was beaming up at me proudly as if to say, "Didn't we do a wonderful job!"

Then I noticed that his right side had a smooth swath of Sherwin Williams Creamy 7012.

And the last wall I had finished had black fur in it, showing delicate little swipes of a small paw and tail.

Two hours later we were both cleaned up, in bed, and I was still laughing.

And believe it or not, Rotley was still purring.

  21. Emma, Rotley was simply 'signing' your work for you ;-) He gave it the "paw of approval"!
