  1. Well, I've never opened the Night Shift Lounge before, but it's that time, so here goes....
    the drink fountains are on,
the bar is open and serving anything you desire,
the masseurs are limbered up and ready,
the cold snacks are on the buffet table (chips, dips, cheese, veggies, cashews, mixed nuts,)
the hot snacks are coming out now (pizza, wings, fried potato skins, taquitos),
the DJ is taking requests for your music preference(s),
and, the cafe kittens are up and awake and ready to play !!!

    Welcome to the Night Shift!

  2. Hi kittymom! I think the warmer weather and extra daylight is contributing to the lack of peeps coming to Night Shift. On those cold, dark winter nights it used to be packed.

  3. I know, but the ones that show up during these warmer months are so delightful!

If you could please pass a large glass of cranberry cocktail, a handful of cashews, and a nice candle for the table, I will be a very happy Emma.

KM and CW, how have you two dear ones been?

  9. *Hands Emma a large glass of cranberry cocktail, Ocean Spray, of course, and the bowl of cashews. Lights a nice scented votive for the table.* "Hello Emma and CW! CW, what would you like this evening? Emma, I'm just fine, thank you... How have you been?"

  10. Hi, Cheri, here's your Bailey's; I hope you'll let Spice and Velvet spend the night with Mac and Grommie tonight. I know they were all whooping it up at Furl and Digit's purrday party.

  11. Julie, love your new avatar! I'm just a sucker for the wrinkly puppies every time ;-) Would you like anything tonight?

  12. Fine -- had a lovely rainy lazy day today!

Posted 3 years ago by Emma #

  13. I have a glass of Spanish red wine in my hand as we speak! Hi Julie and Cheri!

It is actually a bit chilly in Georgia tonight. I had on shorts and a t shirt but had to put on a sweatshirt. Now I think I'll run up and put on the kitty flannel pjs. :-)

  14. Emma, that sounds nice; love those days when you can curl up with a good book and not worry about doing anything else.

Posted 3 years ago by kittymom #

  15. CW, where did you find flannel pj's with kitties???

Posted 3 years ago by kittymom #

  16. Kittymom, I found some kitty pj's at Sears and I think my mom found me some also at JC Penney's.

  17. Thanks, Renee! I'll check both places... **crossing fingers and paws for luck**

  18. Well, lovies, I am off to bed. Two services tomorrow, my study group, Eucharistic ministry at 11:30 and lunch with dear friends. I guess this is the day of rest and tomorrow is full of activity!

    Nightnight, dear ones!

  20. Hi, KW; good night, Emma ~ sleep well so you're refreshed for your busy Sunday. KW, great purrday party for the kits, did all get home safely thru the wormhole?

  21. Hi all, how is everyone this fine sat night?

Posted 3 years ago by TheKnittingNinja #

  22. Kittymom, the flannel pj's may be a seasonal thing, I don't know. I only know that I notice them during the cold months, although, around mother's day I thought I seen some kitty pj's or sleepshirts. Good luck, just keep your eyes peeled for them.

  23. Yes, Kittymom. It was a wonderful party and the girls are fast asleep. All the guests have gone home with little treat bags of catnip and new toys to play with. Thanks for starting that thread. It was fun!! :D

Hi, BHM! Are you working? How is Harry doing with the kits?

Posted 3 years ago by Kitten Whisperer #

  24. I am home, working on a crocheted stuffed animal. The kits are all great. Harry has developed the condition kitten butt...

Posted 3 years ago by TheKnittingNinja #

  25. That is not a condition I am familiar with, BHM. Details? ;D

Posted 3 years ago by Kitten Whisperer #

  26. everytime he lays down a kitten will come and snuggle up to his butt

Posted 3 years ago by TheKnittingNinja #

  27. Hi, BHM! Poor Harry, hope he's not feeling overwhelmed. Renee, I'm looking online right now for kitty pj's at Sears and Penney's ;-) that's why I'm sorta here and sorta not here... BHM, what animal are you crocheting?

Posted 3 years ago by kittymom #
