Oh thanks for looking in on me..but I have to admit..a tornado in California is nothing like one in the mid-west or south..i tell ron that I could blow a bigger funnel than we get out here...but it was a couple big ones for here..It damaged a couple building on the Air Base about 10 miles from me, knocked over a semi-truck on the freeway and toppled a couple train cars..but all in all everything is fine... I really surprised it made the news outside the county...

at least you are alright, the weather this year, actually the last couple of years is just wacky. Even a little funnel can do damage, we have the dirt/dust devils from hell here that seem to reach into the heavens some days or blanket complete sections of the roads, parts of the county, and whatnot with no visibility (which does not stop people driving of course).

weather here is nuts ! 4 days ago we were at 109, and that's what my sister-in-law packed for (she got in last night from Colorado ) and yesterday it was cold enough for jeans and sweatshirts !

AZdebra, I lived in Phoenix for about a year and a half..those AZ dust devils are far scarier than a CA tornado...I remember once at a drive-in we could see this dust wall coming at us...everyone dove inside their cars or rolled up the windows...it was unbelievable... and yes it was real wacky here especially yesterday, started off cool (which was so different from the rest of the week) got cooler then by about 11 we had about 15-20 minutes of huge hail come down..it stopped, then 10 mins later a bunch of thunder then it stopped, sun came out an it got warm...it moved so slowly that it was about 2-3 hours before it reached my house with is only about 15-20 miles from my office..then last night about 6 it started raining cats and dogs (oh wouldn't that be fun)..and didn't stop for many hours..

2bp... he lands today at 1:30. He had trouble getting out of Kabul... to make a connection in Dubai... but he's almost here now. I really need him to step in and help me. Funny -- I realized last night that I had not washed my hair since Monday morning... showered yes, but not washe my hair. It's waist -length to easily goes up in a bun....

It's okay 2P..I went through the same thing 10 years ago, funny I remember doing the same thing, then I put on mascara just before I landed at the airport where all my family was waiting for me...Big mistake!!! 2P if you need to talk just email me 2bpurring at gmail dot com...I know the more support right now the better...and I'm glad you will soon have someone to help with your father, mine needed so much help with everything, his world changed overnight, I think more than I can ever image...
