   Our Uncle Cecil is having a cancerous tumour removed from his colon or intestine tomorrow. He's not sure if he will have chemo afterwards so the prognosis may not be good. He also suffers from a kidney ailment so his health is already compromised.

   Cecil is 70 but still behaves like a 13yr old boy. He is the uncle that tickles you until you wet your pants. The uncle who threatens to throw you in the swimming pool fully clothed. The uncle who threatens to flush your head down the loo. The uncle who streaks at family events.

   He is our mother's baby brother and her recent travel companion to the UK and France.

   Can we please ask for TDK White light and prayers for Cecil and all his family? Tearing up here so it's MS's turn to add more.

   He is the baby of six children, all whom are still with us. Our Mum was a teenager when he was born and had a big hand in looking after him because she was the eldest, so as you can imagine he is very special to her and therefore to KK and our siblings. As KK said he behaves like a 13 year old and does it without compromising his dignity too much and we all love him very much. So please, Healing Energy, TDK white Light and positive thoughts for 'Unky Cecil' and his family. Ok, screen getting blurry now here.

   Dear Uncle Cecil, I am praying for your swift recovery. My mom had colon cancer and had to have an abdominal-perinal resection. Any cancer is bad, but with positive mental attitude, it CAN be beaten. My prayer is that you recover and want to stick KK and MS's heads down the loo. And may you have many more years to streak through France and show them who is boss!

   KK and MS, I understand only too well how this is. Please know that I am here, should you want to yell, rant, cry, remember.... I have done it all. But the very best thing is to remember Uncle Cecil at his very most mischivous and naughty self! Laughter is the very best medicine.

   A 70 year old streaking at family events? Is this common in New Zealand??? He sounds like a cheeky fellow! ;-)

   Heavenly Father, we lift up Cecil to you as he goes through surgery tomorrow. We pray that the cancer has not spread and the tumor is removed easily and safely. Guide the doctor's hands, along with everyone who takes care of this dear man. We pray for miraculous healing and many more years of travel and being the life of the party. We ask these things in Jesus' name.

    Uncle Cecil, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. There is no way you can't beat this thing. You are too fun and wiley to let it get you down. There are more countries to visit and more streaking to be done. Everyone needs an Uncle Cecil and KK and MS are so very blessed to have you in their life, so positive attitude and you will beat this thing!!! Go Uncle Cecil!!!

    Bless all Uncle Cecil's family at this stressful time and all the doctors, nurses, surgeons and anesthetists looking after him in hospital. If it is at all possible let him make a full recovery and ease his recuperation so that he is soon back to his irrepressible self.

    Operation went well and he is awake and cheeky apparently.
    Probably harrassing the nurses if I know him.

    KK...I'm so relieved that things went well for your Uncle Cecil. Very good sign if he's trying to get a rise out of the nurses. He sounds like quite the character. The kind of Uncle everyone wants in their family. I love that he likes to streak. lol

    lol, guess he is holding his own if he is cheeky upon waking up!! Nurses will handle his harrassing them, of that I am sure :)
