TDK White light needed for KK & MS favourite uncle
(54 posts)-
I think that I must have had Uncle Cecil as a patient once. Every time that I went into that man's room he would look sheepish and then raise his hospital gown to flash me. I hated to tell him, but actually I had seen all that "stuff" before :-)
I hope that Uncle Cecil is recovering well, has good bowel sounds today (we nurses love good bowel sounds) and is enjoying a delightful cup of jello in whatever color he likes.

Have been away from the computer for a few days and am just catching up. I'm so glad Unky Cecil is recovering well. Will send prayers for his continued recovery and headbonks and purrs to the New Zealand family.

Thanks for the good news about Unky Cecil. I'm sure he will entertain the nurses well. I hope he improves quickly and is pain free!

Thanks for all your good wishes. The decision is still to be made as to whether he will have chemo due to what it might mean for his kidney problem. Hoping he will be around for a lot longer - miniKK is the newest generation to have to deal with Cecil and his antics and I hope she and Cecil's 4 grandchildren get to experience more of his 'terrorising'.

That is good news that Uncle Cecil is feeling good enough to be cheeky with the nurses. Hope that whatever form of treatment allows him a good quality of life and to be able to enjoy "terrorising the new generation of your family.

Oh no, Uncle Cecil! Try to be a good patient and do what the nurses tell you. They can get your infection cleared up and then you can go streaking down the hall. Sending prayers to you!

Woohoo, Uncle Cecil is fighting fit again, sitting up in bed with his usual grin on his face and feeling a great deal more comfortable than he was. Still has a bit of pain but has a button to push to deal with that. Many thanks for all your prayers, thoughts and healing energy. We'll get this man out of hospital and home to the tender ministrations of his older sisters.

UPDATE:- Uncle Cecil is now at home. Two of his sisters are heading off in the morning to stay with him and look after him (and maybe torture him as good sisters do). Another two sisters have been his constant visitors at the hospital. He's so lucky to have four older sisters. :-)
