   My morning started out quite disturbed when I got news that MMM's Max was not feeling well. Shortly after that i got an e-mail from my sister Karen that her baby Abby had taken a sudden turn for the worse. She at that point was not even able to stand.

   I'm getting so stressed for my sister as well as for Abby. She loves her dearly & I can't bear to think that Abby may go any other way but peaceful. At this point,Karen has not responded back to my e-mails & that's been almost 2 hrs.

   Please everyone,while Praying for Max to be well, please Prayer that Abby is comfortable & my sister will be okay.

   I have learned to only pray for the best outcome.... which is what I will do. If it is indeed Abby's time, let it be peaceful.

   Please let sweet Abby make the crossing with peace and dignity. May her loving spirit stay with Karen all of her days and bring her comfort and help to ease her tears.

   My Willie, Mandy, Bombalurina and Skimbleshanks will be waiting for you, Abby. They are a little bit afraid of dogs but will recognize that you have a gentle heart.

    My thoughts and prayers are with you Abby and Karen. Abby if you are being called home, please cross with peace and know your mommy loves you and always will. I know all the other kitties and my Bastian, Pepper and Mindy(the last two are doggies ) will be there. They will ease your crossing. Karen, I wish you peace and the knowledge you were loved.     Susie, I'm sorry I wasn't available earlier, but I tried to address Max's issue as best as possible on that conversational thread.

    I'm so very sorry to hear about Abby's turn for the worse. My heart goes out to your sister Karen, and her beloved Abby. If it is Abby's time, I pray she will pass quickly and without pain or distress.

    Thank you Susie..I love you sis...and thank you to all of you for your caring and your prayers. If anyone understands the love of animals it's a TDKer. Thank you and God Bless! It has been a tough day. For the first time Abby had a bladder release indoors. She just couldn't muster the trip out. I've been cuddling her and reminding her of all the zany things we've shared in over the years. She kisses my nose and gives me a smile. She's a brave girl and tomorrow, barring any complications, she will make the crossing to join all the others. Oh and she's kitty friendly so they won't be nervous at her arrival. I'm sure her reputation will precede her. Thank you and God Bless.

    Karen...I Love You too. You make sure you give Abby a HUG & Lots of Kisses from her Aunt Susie. I'm sorry we live so far apart. You know if it were possible I would be there to hold you thru your venture with sweet Abby.

    Karen, I can only tell you that I am thinking of this night with you and Abby. How wonderful has her life been to have been so loved. And how enriched has yours been by having her love. It is so hard to say goodbye. But it isn't really goodbye - only for a little while. You may not believe that people who have never known Abby will cry at her passing. But, you must believe.

    Karen, I read your post and I have to admit, I am crying. I can feel your pain like it was my own. I am so sorry that you have to say goodbye to Abby. If I could take away her pain and your pain, I would in a heartbeat. I am so glad you are spending some time with Abby. Tell her she is loved even beyond your household. You are in my thoughts tonight Karen and thank you for being unselfish and not letting Abby suffer. My kitties send you purrs and sandpaper kisses. I send you lots of hugs and please give Abby extra love from us as well.

    *several cats and one german shepherd dog slip through the wormhole and make their way over to Abby. Loud purrs fill the room as they greet Abby with gentle head bonks and nose rubs. The shepherd, a sweet little girl named Tinker, sniffs noses with Abby. They all begin to tell her wonderful stories of the place she will be going to -- the soft green meadows, bright sunshine, the endless toys and treats, and of course, all the new friends she will make. C.C., who is used to using the wormhole to visit by now, tells Abby that she can come back to watch over her mommy whenever she wants to, only her mommy won't be able to see her. When they are all finished talking, the kitties and Tinker settle down with Abby and her mom to comfort all of them while they wait until its time to take their new friend back with them.*

    My prayers and thoughts are will you, Karen. I am so sorry for what you are going through. I hope the image in that last paragraph will give you some kind of peace and I have prayed that some of my babies are able to come back to comfort Abby and escort her to the rainbow bridge when it is time.
