  1. I let Cato in and he hopped on the bed. He stood over me for several seconds to see if I was going to feed him. No such luck sunny boy! I gave him a little pat as I turned to roll over and realized he was covered with burrs. Yes indeed there they all were tangled in my covers this morning :) I had to pick out the foxtails and burrs with a brush. Cato hates me and has started legal proceedings charging me with assault.....Elizabeth :)

  5. A perfect allergy package for me! The allergist found that the two things to which I am most highly allergic are cats and cockleburrs.

  7. have you charged him for emergency medical treatment at 4 am ? or are you hoping he doesn't sue you for impersonating an animal vet ???

  8. dan and dude used to do that when they were young. they would come home looking like they had little suits of armor on from all the burrs.

  9. Hahaha! Poor Elizabeth...poor Cato! I remember how awful Calistoga burrs and foxtails can be...It's one of those darned things you just can't get around. Good luck Cato...don't give mommy too much trouble, those foxtails can be dangerous.

  10. BHM, lol @ little suits of armor!
Cato, serious Presidential candidates shouldn't be out catting around at 4AM romping through the weeds; nor should they file frivolous lawsuits charging 'campaign staffers', who are simply helping cover up their late night escapades, with assault; what happens to your campaign if/when the press gets wind of this?? Not a pretty headline..... I'm just sayin'....

  11. kittymom, you're thinking National Enquirer? I could hold that over his head for a long time :)!!!!! Elizabeth

  12. Elizabeth, I'm thinking the National Inquirer, The Star (or is it Star Magazine?), The Sun (UK tabloid), The Daily Mail (UK tabloid), The Daily Mirror (UK tabloid)... Cato needs to keep his campaign strategy in mind before he files a "frivolous lawsuit" that could potentially torpedo his candidacy... So, IMHO, it seems like you're in the driver's seat, Elizabeth, at least until after the election ;-)

  13. Kittymom, what you don't know is that Cato has been running for president for over two years and I don't think he is going to stop with the US elections! Before they came around, he ran for governor of California against Arnold AND THEN he ran for President of Mexico!!! The vet says it is a common syndrome of the Siamese cat -- loud world domination!!! :) Elizabeth
