  1. Harry learned a new trick for waking me up last night. At about 4am he decided that my nostrils needed a good grooming. Which I have to say is one of the most unpleasent ways to be woken up. Though my mom's cat Dan does top that one by biting my face or turning off my mom's CPAP machine. He's also learned to scale 2 baby gates to get into the kitchen with the dogs (I think that was more following me, but who knows with active babies like that one)

Anyone else have kitties who have speacial ways of waking you up?????????

  2. Well, I got woken up in the wee hours of this morning with Oliver licking my forehead and hair while he was laying on top of my boyfriend's head!

He doesn't usually wake me up, he often comes in and sleeps next to me on the mornings I get to sleep in after my boyfriend leaves for work which is nice on the cooler mornings hehe

  3. My Mum's cat Bones (who we're looking after for her) has this godawful half strangled mega decibel miaow that wakes me up, even though he's shut in the sitting room, and I'm upstairs in the bedroom! I made the mistake of leaving the sitting room door open one evening, so was treated to this noise at full volume, approximately 1 foot away from my (still sleeping) self - the shock nearly killed me!!!

  5. Ms. B sits next to me, if touching my arms don't work, then nipping at the underarm is a damn good try. If she doesn't go flying off the bed (not normally, but I don't throw alarm clocks either) or get told to get away while she can, then I get up. Don't know what I would do if they screeched in my ear, that would give me a headache to start the day.

  6. My calico, Kirby (who has crossed the Rainbow Bridge) used to sit on the pillow next to my bed and stare at me sleeping. Do you every get the feeling that someone's staring at you? I'd open my eyes and there she was. If I closed them again, then she starting licking them open again, like a mama kitty would do to her kittens, I guess.

  9. I am hoping the nostril cleanings are a one time thing, but I will not get to find out tonight. I am working a double shift (plus) and will be sleeping at the hospital tonight.
