Hey everybody, I would like to introduce my baby Shiva. She looks solid black but in the sunlight you can see orange and black tiger stripes. She is now sitting on my dresser beside me trying to pull the socks out of my drawer and glaring at me once in a while with those big yellow eyes of hers. I keep telling her it's not dinnertime yet but she disagrees.

BB and Ange,thanks! I go see my PCPhysician 2x/mo. and have blood drawn all the time cuz I'm on warfarin and they also draw yet more blood,but no report of diabetes so far.My blood thinner may have triggered a sugar dump in me after I missed lunch today,I'm not sure. Am keeping an eye on it, thank you ladies!

now I am not the one to tell you you should never skip lunch because I often skip it, but I think you need to eat lunch more than I do. I am glad to hear no signs of diabeties, but I can sympathize with the blood work, for a while I had to go 3 times a month then 2 then 1 and now every 6months. Hate needles, but love tats old right?

Shiva is a little brat!!
*grins as she pushes the kitty out of the way so she can see the monitor*
For one thing, she is always on the wrong side of the door. She definitely thinks she should decide when mealtime is and, if she had it her way, her dish would be emptied and refilled constantly with fresh food 24/7.
She can be quite playful and she knows how to get a person's attention*gently moves the kitty's hind quarters out of the way and continues typing*
She gets into my sock drawer and will pull everything out of the drawer if I don't pay attention to her, she meows endlessly if she wants something no matter how annoyed we get with her. And she knows just how to look at us with those big *removes a cat tail from her mouth and continues typing* yellow eyes.
Oh, and did I mention she loves to jump up on my desk if I ignore her?

hey, thanks all the same but I steer clear when I can. But I bet you are a real pro and would even be able to manage my disappearing and wiggly veins. Most have to do 2 or 3 attempts. Talk about torture.
I have hated needlesz ever since I was nine and had my tonsils and adnoids removed. The woman jabbed me in both arms 10 times and all of my fingers at least 4 times a piece. Then the doctor called our house that night saying they didn't have enough blood and I needed to come back. I through myself to the floor kicking and screaming and saying no! The doctor heard me, mom explained everything and he decided to take the blood after I was asleep before surgery.
Now I flinch, and can't even watch or I feel queasy.

Sorry tigerpaw but I don't say something unless it's true and you are family! So too bad. Now your fair game to anniy, frsutrate, bagger oh and gross out! My sibs here just love me! (grins evilly tthinking what else I can do to pay them back for everything I suffered at their hands) My siblings are 9, 8, and 7 years older than me. The bathroom story is only one of many offenses against me my sis did. My bro's were worse. But I have gotten them back. :o)

Evening nightshifters, at work with hours of fun & laughter ahead (NOT)! Everyone is expecting me to fix their problems and I really am not up to it this week, still feeling exhausted and down, sigh. Oh well, what do ya do....when in doubt, punt :P Sorry to hear about the troubles with the house/belongings, Lynn..hate that part of someone dying :( Well back to work, only just shy of 7 hrs to go, woo hoo (was that convincing or not)..
