I'm going to give my boys a rest from their Arcamax contesting for now.
:-) I did notice last night that I was only allowed one vote per picture--I guess that crabby jerk who kept complaining on Lucy Belle's picture also complained to Arcamax.

I've been out of the loop for a bit dealing with Hopper & all. I haven't had a chance to read all the threads (& sadly,will probably never catch up with everything),who won for the month of May?

Only allowed me one vote on one photo (our own of course). I sent a CS request stating the voting policies for total # of vote allowed, # of votes per pic, and voting frequency should be posted in the FAQ's.

I think all of us should send this to the CS department to raise awareness of this ommission.

Sqeeky wheel did not do the math. If we could have only voted 1 per day, squeeky wheel could only have voted 1 per day. Lucy Belle would shill have had about 200 votes to Dog on Bikes extimated 70. The poll result would have been the same.

Very interesting indeed. It's really only one vote on one pic. If I remember correctly, the top photo for previous months registered votes by over the thousand, sometimes to the extend of 2000 plus. So, why the sudden change in policy? Because Mr./Ms. Grumpy got his/her way? It's hard to believe that one person could change the whole course of the voting process. And if there indeed is a change, then the site should published the changes, like what ailuromaniac said.

In February, my Teensie won with about 4000 votes. Being limited to one vote per day really makes it less fun. I used to peruse the other pics and give a vote or two to the cute ones, since I had so many to work with.

ArcaMax has not allowed me to place a single vote in days! I don't know what's wrong..I really want to vote for Juuei and can't....Whaaaaaaaa!!!!! I really wish I understood what was going on. If we weren't supposed to be voting 5 votes per cat up to 30 then why was it allowed and are we now being punished for it???

They may or may not respond but contact Arcamax and ask what issues they are having with the voting and tell them what your voting problems are. Also ask they post the voting policies (how many pics, votes per pic and votes per day/period) so that it is not a case of finding out by trial and error.

Well, it just accepted my vote for Juuei, which was the first time I voted since last week.

That dog licking a lollipop in the currently first-place picture is going to get rotten teeth if its owner keeps giving it candy.

Thanks ailuromaniac....I just sent a request concerning my inability to vote. I also asked about the possibility of posting the voting rules on each page we bring up for the contest. We'll see what they come back with. I tried again this afternoon to vote for Juuei and it would not accept my vote.

Let's keep promoting Juuei for our TKD representative of the month and keep squeaking about having the voting rules posted. If you are unable to vote complain about that as well.

Cats still rule there are 6 pictures of 9 in the top that are cats for 7 kitties as one is of two kittens and Helmet (used to search for dog on bike) is not one of them and currently trailing #9 14 to 7 votes.

The new voting system sucks. I am glad Juuei is making it, but the kittens holding #2 position are really cute and there are many other cute kits getting only a few votes.

Yay for Juuei - I will keep on voting daily. Yup, the new voting system is really oppressive. If we could vote once but for 5 different pics, that would be nice too. I don't really agree with such strict rules.

Two things can amend the voting policy.

1) Arcamax gets enough complaints.

2) Interest in the site drops as people loose the intense excitement the high poll numbers generated causing their advertisers to withdraw investment.
