Kitty Bath Video.....pretty cute
(6 posts)-
Oh, dear! This poor woman thinks she had a hard time with ANY of them?!? LOL! None of them, not one, was in full-fledged panic at any point in time. Unhappy, yes; desperate to get out of the tub? No way!!
(FWIW, I've found it's easiest to control a cat getting a bath, and achieve a full rinse, by using the kitchen sink and a sprayer attachment. Having no standing water in the sink seems to help, too.)

I agree, anncetera, those cats were pretty docile in the water. The gal who was giving them their baths was so very good and gentle with them, and they certainly weren't traumatized. Unhappy, yes, but no tantrums from any of them. Got a kick out of Puffy--he was just walking around the tub, like "ok, now what am I supposed to do?" But then the indignation of having one of the other cats "watching while I take my bath"! Egads!!

I have to agree with anacetera on this one. My back would give out before the first one was even to the shampoo phase. The kitchen sink is wide enough and high enough to give you some control over the situation.
Allowing them to run loose after a brief towel dry is not generally a good idea either. One of mine (GYPSY - RIP) had to be bathed and before getting a thorough towel dry, slipped out of my hands and headed for the couch. With malice aforethought and much determination, she squatted and let loose while glaring at me with a look that could have turned me into a wisp of smoke.
The music in the video was clever. And, yes she does look like she cares a lot for her kits.
