  1. Lisa, I am so glad you got some restful sleep!!! I can imagine how good you feel. I am sure CJ will be okay, give her some extra love today and more greenies..lol
Fred and Cricket would love to come over anytime, they love to play and snuggle!

  2. AZDEBRA, that's a remarkable kitty crew you've got there. I made sure everyone got a treat tonight on Catster, since I heard on the news that the heat out your way is off the scale. Figured everybody could use an extra nibble to keep their spirits up!

  3. lisaeylau, thanks my friend, yes the heat sucks this year, it was 110F today and still in the 90's when I came to work at midnight....their spirits were up when they were sprinting thru the house and then flop down on the tile floors to cool off...nutty bunch they are....get some rest and take care :)

  4. Lisa, I hadn't caught on this thread for a while - sorry you're still not feeling right, but you're on the right site for positive energy and cyber support! I see CM answered the Hugh Laurie question, it's really funny for us Brits to know he's a stateside hunk now, he always played the bumbling nitwit over here!!

If you're partial to black cats, I could send Pickle over to play? We're going out for the rest of the day, so she'd probably welcome the adventure!

  5. By the way, Lisa, I think CJ was here last night. I bought some greenies for my lads, and they HATE them.

All packages of greenies were gone from the treat basket this morning.

Please check CJ's breath. Just a thought.

(and I am SOOOOO glad you got some restful, peaceful sleep!)

  6. Emma, not only is CJ's breath nice and clean, but her poo is sparkling emerald. I know that's way too much information, but I'd say she's unequivocally busted.

I *finally* got out today, yahoo!! I can't believe how good I feel and how much energy I have. I must have been running a quart low for a really long time.

So... I went that my dad would call "hog wild" (he was from Arkansas, he had all these colorful colloquialisms). I went to church, then went to two pharmacies, still felt ok so I washed my car!!!! Then I went to Petsmart and came home and took a shower and collapsed. But not before Trixie, Bob's girlfriend, took a swipe at me while I was feeding the kittens. She hit a vein in the top of my hand.

So I have a lovely purple hematoma on the top of my left hand. I probably need a tetanus shot, but I already have a $9000 bill from the ER. Trixie never wastes ammunition--every time she waves her paw, she does serious damage. Once she hit a nerve in my hand, and it was 6 months before I got my hand back 100 percent. And *that's* why I have so much respect for her.

Emma, we gotta talk sometime about our Celtic roots, ancestral memory, and collective consciousness, etc. These things are a big part of my life. Sounds like they are for you, too.

Okay, nitey noodles. Purrrrrrrrrrr to everyone. I think your prayers and healing white light did the trick.

I have a stress echocardiogram at 3:15 on Tuesday. I hate doing them, but I know it's for the best. It's just embarrassing being the youngest person there by about 30 years. Plus, it hurts.

Misty is snoring again. I gotta get that online so ya'll can hear it. It's a hoot, in every sense of the word.

  7. Glad to hear you're feeling so much better, sweetie! Great to have the energy back.

And if anyone comments about your age while you get the echocardiogram, just tell them you come here to pick up guys.
