Hi Caroline, Someone gave him to me, his name is top cat. Anyway they said the mother passed away and so they had 4 kittens about 3 weeks old to give away. I took the last one. He is so precious, I have had him for about a week so he is about 4 weeks, he has little, sharp teeth, is orange with blue eyes. He sleeps well and purrs a lot but meows a lot too. I was feeding him the formula for kittens but someone told me to feed him goat's milk? Any ideas? Is it normal for him to meow all the time? I really appreciate all your help. Thanks

Thanks Popoki, I already have a stuffed animal in his tub. He is so cute he sleeps right up against it. He is really smart too, I was having to stimulate him to go to the bathroom but I have been showing him his little litter box and as of 2 days ago he is using it. I was very excited and proud.

I will get pics on very soon. The day after I took this kitten I walked down to my mailbox and lo and behold there was a little filthy black and white kitten probably 6 weeks old. I guess someone dumped him out so I have him too and he is a live wire. He is very precious too, his name is Tarzan. I live outside of a small town in the country and I think the word is out that I love dogs and cats. I have one gray and black striped female cat who lives inside and I have had her for years. Her name is Ms. Kitty and she is not very thrilled about the new kitten. Tarzan will eventually live outside when he is big enuf, too many coyotes to let him out now. I have 6 other cats outside. Delilah, Lola, Captain Caveman, Stuff, Double Stuff and Meanie Man. I also have 3 red dobermans, Xandy, Prince and Clyde and a 1/2 red dobie 1/2 wiemeriener named Dude. I love them all.

Hi CC..Welcome aboard! How lucky little TopCat is to have such a loving and caring mommy! My suggestion on the feeding would be if he's doing fine with the kitten formula..don't mess with it. You know the old saying.."If it isn't broke, don't fix it." Just my opinion..you'll be hearing from many people here who have done a great deal of fostering of young kittens. Trust them...they're the best!

Yes, Milo and Lil Girl are similar, may be long lost cousins but the one that gave me chills was Max. He is a dead ringer for my Snowman (RIP). If Max's tail was kinked and the left hind leg pinned and stiff, they could be twins! Even more ironic is the fact that within 30 min. of Snows passing, my son Will came home with Milo saying we didn't HAVE to keep him but he needed a home and we had a vacancy. Well, I couldn't say no to that face and Milo joined the crew. He's as dumb as a box of bricks but we love him to bits anyway!

CC, Karenopa is correct. Keep Top Cat on the fitten formula fro a couple of more weeks and then gradually introduce him to regular food. He is vocal because he is lonely for his mama and littermates and wants your attention. Give him all that you can and he will bond with you. Give Tarzan all the love you can spare too. Even though he is a couple of weeks older he needs it as well.

Yes FH, we just gotta love the orange and white dunderheads!!! I do find however that the ones that aren't too bright are the best cuddlers and will always be right by your side. A much more admerable trait that just being "bright" if you ask me. {{{hugs for Bosley}}}
