Ditto on all counts! {{{HUGS}}} I remember with my asthmatic daughter the nights were the worst--I held her on my lap with the vaporizor going full blast in her room.

What a day! I took him to the Doctor who gave him a steroid shot and sent us to get a chest x-ray and some blood work! The good news is he doesn't have pneumonia! His white count is up but the doctor thinks that's from the sinus infection, He also has! They uppped his steroids( usually it's a step down on the pills 6 today 5 tomorrow...) the doctor wants him on 6 pills for the next 3 days and then step down from there, He's still coughing but he says his side doesn't hurt as much. Please keep the prayers coming!

Dorie..I'm still praying for your son..Bless his little heart he's really having a tough time and I know how hard it is on you to witness it. Is he taking prednisone? That's what they used to give Bryan when he got into the same predicaments with ear infections. Get strong little one. {{{hugs}}}

Yes karen he's on prednisone and zithromax and advair and singular and zytec and rhynocort and albuterol nebulizer treatments every 4 hours!
I get a kick out of the doctor who tells him to go home and take it easy on all of these meds!! He's bouncing off the walls! Thank God my oldest son is home tonight and is playing wii with him! He's driving me crazy!!Posted 3 years ago by 4 kits staff #

Saturday Morning!
Good morning and yes it is a good morning! He slept peacefully he got breathing treatment every 4 hours But not from me last night oldest son gave him one at 1 am and my daughter gave him the 5 am one they said I needed a good night sleep as I was bi***y! (I don't want to let them know Aunt flo is visiting and it's my perogative to bi***y) He is still sleeping and I hear no coughing so I think were over the worse part(pray, pray, pray)
If he is up to it today we will take a ride up to the churches fair for a little while! I have to get my Banana bread and my surprises! I always find good deals here!

My older two are 28 and soon to be 26. They are helping me raise the youngest as there father is MIA, Deadbeat Dad, SOB...
He seems to be a lot better today and we went to the church fair and ate like pigs(Hot dog, Chicken salad sandwiche, strawberry shortcake, ice cream, several cans of soda afew bottles of water as it was really hot) we tried to win some raffle baskets but won nothing and I bidded on a few auction items but didn't get anything I actually went up to $150 for a painted picture of main street in the 1800's it sold for $340. I really wanted it as I live on main street and my house was a shadow in the painting! Oh well!! The electric company will be happy!Posted 3 years ago by 4 kits staff #

Huh--just goes to show you that you don't necessarily need a man around to raise great kids--God blesses true fathers--the ones that partner with the mothers to raise their children. Don't get mad at me dads, I'm not man bashing just being frustrated with the ones who don't get it! O.K. off my soapbox--glad to hear that he is doing better Dorie--I will keep you all in my prayers.

I'm happy to hear that your son is doing so much better, Dorie. The two of you have been through this too many times. I'm glad is brother and sister helped so you could get a good night's rest!! I think you should be honored on both Mother's Day AND Father's Day since you have been raising him single-handedly for so many years!! Enjoy your day! :D

It is Monday morning and my youngest just left for school(he has 2 full days left and then 5 finals and he's done for the year!
Please keep him in your prayers as he's still on medications, that make him antsy and he has finals every day this week!
