Meowmy and Daddy have decorated the backyard with streamers, balloons and banners. Purple, pink, red, blue, greeen, yellow, orange and it's so pretty. The deck is filled with food, tuna dip with crackers, nip punch, cod and liver bites, Daddy will be grilling salmon steaks and shrimp,crab and lobster kabobs for the main course. There is a big cake in the shape of a giant mouse, layered with chicken, liver and a sprinkling of nip. Right beside the cake is a big picture of Cricket and Shaddo taken not so long ago. She wanted her friend to be here. So make sure you come say hi.
There is a pinata in the corner that looks like a dog and a cat dancer to hit it with. It's filled with nip, toys, treats, greenies. Cricket and Fred's cousins, Hobbes and Snickers came over to DJ the party. They are set up in the corner, all the CD's you could ask for and will get everyone dancing. There are goodie bags for the kitties to take home, filled with bows and nail polish for the girls and ties and clip on earrings for the boys.
Cricket is wearing a beautiful amber dress with speghetti straps, it matches her eyes and has matching bows in her hair. Fred is just in some casual shorts and a nice green shirt.
As you can see they are up early but they wanted everything just right and just in case their friends from Spain, England or anywhere else wanted to come now, they can. they are very aware of the time difference.
So calling all Kitties, let's PARTY!!!!!!!!

Rotley and Ruggles and several good-natured working dogs pop through the wormhole; the dogs are porters hired by the lads, and they are hauling a large platform and matching futon, decorated with large bows and broad satin ribbon.
The lads are dressed in casuals to help set up, and their "formals" are in a small suitcase strapped to the back of a huge German shepherd named Max.
"We hope you like the viewing platform!" laughs Ruggles, as Rotley supervises the placement of the platform and futon, as well as other goodies. The dogs unload all the packages, and sky rockets stick up from the top of one box.
"We brought fireworks for later," smiles Rotley, walking over to give Cricket a birthday hug. "And this is where we can all sit or lie down and watch them." He pats the colorful futon into place.
Ruggles turns and gives each of the dogs a generous tip and paw-shake, and the German shepherd and his workers wish everyone a good day and disappear through the worm hole with a great deal of bowing and cap-waving.
"Good fellows," murmurs Rotley. "Oh, here's the basket from our meowmy. The usual French roast in the thermos, biscotti for the parents, and lemon-rosemary muffins. Hope you like them! And she said to say hello to everyone and to wish Cricket a very happy birthday."
"And we wore our angel pins in honor of Grandpa Shaddo," says Ruggles softly, waving at Cricket's mama.

Party,party,party, stand aside Shadz is coming through the wormhole. She is wearing a fashionable little number in green/gold to match her eyes and it is patterned all over in tiny mice. Around her shoulders is a fine merino wool cape to keep the cold of the worm hole from her. As previously promised she is bringing a live mouse as a gift for Cricket. I'm afraid she can't stay long as Mummy has to pull her computer apart later this evening to take to Airys. Airy is giving her Mum her computer and will be transferring stuff over and I would hate to lose the wormhole connection. Here she cooooooooomessssssssssss

Cricket is so excited to see Ruggles, Rotley and Shadz! She hugs them all and gives them nuzzles on the cheek. She thanks them all for the presents and can''t believe the boys thought of fireworks! This will be the best birthday ever! Cricket loves Shadz's outfit and tells her we must go shopping sometime.
Fred takes the live mouse from Shadz and gives it to Meowmy(who loves them) and they will have a new pet.
Crickets Meowmy is very thankful to Emma and the boys for the French Roast and biscotti which she will highly enjoy. As will any other parents who come.

Shadz whips out a gift basket from under her cape, it holds a selection of fine New Zealand wines from the Church Road winery and a selection of Kapiti cheeses, for the adults. Shadz may snuggle close to you when the fireworks go off as she is a wee bit scared of them. I'm off to bed now, could you please pop Shadz in the worm hole home in an hour or so, she has her own key to the door. Thanks so much for inviting her.

*Melon and Pipa wiggle through the worm hole*
Pipa is wearing a pretty white summer dress that goes well with her tanned meezer color and a bow on one ear.
Melon has jean shorts and a white t-shirt.They bring nip mouses (which are by far Melon's favourite toys) and some pretty leather bracelets for Cricket, very fashionable now in Spain.
They also have a huge paella and some Sangria for Cricket's meowmy.Party!

Yeah!! Pipa and Melon!!! Cricket runs over and gives them a big hug and nuzzle. She is so excited they are here. Fred kisses Pipa on her paw and shakes Melon's paw. He gets the paella and sangria and gives it to Meowmy. Meowmy is overwhelmed with all the goodies.

***Fanfair music is playing*** Chucky and his girls are coming through the worm hole. Prince Charles is dressed in a top hat and his purple bell collar. Tess is dressed in her normal tuxedo with matching white sox and her diamond bell collar, Tonka is dressed in her sleek black party dress with her white gold studded bell collar. The 3 of them are carrying a huge box(Inside is a cat castle for there friend cricket) they are also carrying a big tray of chocolate covered strawberries(for the humans) and a whole roasted chicken with sprigs of catnip for the appeal for all the kits to enjoy and a big bottle of ice cold Danisi water for the toast later!
They arrive and sir Charles goes to his friend Cricket " My darling Cricket You look beautiful today Happy birthday." as he bows and kisses her paw(which sends the girls into a fit of laughter as they know that's not there brother

Cricket is so happy to see Chucky, Tess and Tonka! she hugs them and blushes when Chucky kisses her paw. Then laughs to see him chase his sisters. Cricket is so excited to have her friends here. Meowmy takes the "people" food and lays out the kitty food on the buffet.

Chance and Smudge are ready for the party. Smudge is dressed in a lovely turquoise shorts set while Chance wears his everyday gray t-shirt and gym shorts. (He thinks he looks sexy no matter what he wears.) Smudge brings a "cat design" photo book for all the pictures Cricket will want to take of the party.

Happy Purrday, cutie Cricket! The courier will be arriving shortly with Cricket's present from Shaddo. I have no idea what's in there; another of his secrets. I know he wrapped it, because the paper is a bit shredded, and the tape was on the bathroom floor last week (I was wondering about that!). I don't know how he acquired this bright, shimmery wrapping paper and the multi-colored ribbons streaming all around the present. I'm also sending Shaddo's tail-ring to Fred. Not that he has to get his tail pierced, but I think Shaddo would have liked Fred to have it. There's a big bouquet of pretty wildflowers for Cricket's meowma.

Bog, Clark and Andy slip-slide through the worm hole. Bog is dressed casually in jeans and a white polo shirt (shows off his beautiful gray fur), Clark is dressed in gray pin striped pants, a pink shirt with purple suspenders, Andy is wearing a pair of shirt and his Dinasour shirt (I'm the baby, gotta love me!)
They have a big box filled with something that rattled.
Bog rushes over to CM and says if meowma was feeling 100% she'd be here, but she's not fully better yet...
Clark slides over to "his" Cricket and give her a little kiss on the muzzle. Hello, my sweet girl!

Cricket and meowmy greet Bog, Clark, Andy, Sammy and Oliver. Cricket gives Clark a kiss and blushes slightly. Meowmy gives the boys the angel pins from Shaddo so they can wear them.

OK, look out everyone..............the zoo crew is in the house!! I told them to behave and not get too rowdy and they promised they would be good. All are wearing there treasured angle pins in honor of Shaddo and Jiggs and are ready to party!! Wait............did someone say limbo???? Yeeehawww!!!
Rusty races back to the wormhole, they almost forgot Crickets present! The rowdy bunch as brought cricket a lovely pair of diamond and emerald earings to match her beautiful eyes and a bottle of Baileys for Crickets momma (They just love her too!)
Pricilla is getting nervous. She doesn't see Blackbeard anywhere! For her sake, I hope he gets here soon.
Oh no!! Milo just dived headfirst into the mouse patte. Silly Milo, there is plenty to go around, no need to be such a hog.

Whoo Hoo!!!!! Party Time!!!!! BooBoo kitty, Blackbeard and Betty slide through the wormhole!!!BooBoo is wearing her multicolored sundress (very casual) Blackbeard is in his tux (hoping Pricilla shows up and notices him) and Betty is in her shorts and a tank top. They are all wearing their Angel pins from Shaddo and have brought a very large box with them wrapped in black and white paper (to match Cricket of course) with lots of shiny ribbons. All the kitties run up to give Cricket headbonks and give a lick and a rub to Shaddos picture. Betty wants to hang with Cricket and talk about skating, but BooBoo reminds her that Cricket is with Clark and they look like they want to spend a little time together. Betty runs up to Hobbes and Snickers and requests "Stray Cat Strut" and the kitties begin to dance and strut!!

Cricket is having so much fun, she was glad to see that Rusty, Priscilla, Milo, BooBoo, Blackbeard and Betty could make it. She tells Betty they will talk a bit later and then maybe we could even go to the rink this weekend!
