Cricket runs and greets Mavvy and Huddy. I am so glad you are here!! She pulls both of them on the dance floor. She notices Betty and Angela and runs over. Come on girls, lets dance with all the cute boys! She pulls them out with her on the floor.

I promise they will come home with full bellies and tired from having so much fun.

Gracie, Emma and Thirry spent the night, but stayed up so late playing they slept in this morning. The come out blinking the sleep out of their eyes and give Cricket her presents. Gracie gave cricket some of her favorite cat toys, rolled up knee-highs for playing fetch with and promised that these were brand new. She hadn't played with them once. Emma brought catnip mice made of brightly colored felt with tiny bells sewed onto their tails. Thierry brought Cricket a beautiful pink, princess collar made of chiffon with sparkles to catch the sunlight. His blue eyes sparkle as he watches Cricket put it on and twirl around.

Cricket loves her presents!! She was happy that the kitties could spend the night too, it was like celebrating her birthday for 2 days!
Daddy calls over all the kitties and tells them lunch is ready. They all sit down at the tables. They dine on salmon steaks, shrimp, crab and lobster kabobs and all the nummies they can imagine! All you hear is kitties eating, drinking, laughing and talking.
after they are done, they have a nice area in the yard 1/2 sun 1/2 shade to lay down for their nap. They can rest up for the second half of the party.

*pausing first at wormhole, bowing heads in prayer remembering all the friends who've journeyed to the bridge...there have been many* *little noses w/whiskers erect peek into the wormhole and one by one Tuffy, Oreo, Shady and Sugarfoot slip into the festivities* Everyone looks wonderful and the decorations are sooooo inviting! Oreo and Sugarfoot run to Cricket with their Purrrrrday gifts of Greenies & Organic Nip..."Happy Purrrrrday Cricket"! Bringing up the rear with much calamity and chaos the brothers saunter up to say Hey to pretty Cricket the Purrday Girl! Tuffy is carrying a wriggly field mouse who escapes as he passes it off to Cricket....running for cover into the bushes, never to be seen again. MEOW!!! "Sorry Cricket..It was the nicest field mouse in the neighborhood too!" Cricket giggles and Thanks the girls and Tuffy for their puuuuurrfect gifts. Suddenly...without warning there's a commotion in the crowd and Cricket looks up to see Milo, George and Shady running frantically in and out of the pretty garden flowers...Petals flying everywhere! Groans and meows were aplenty and when the commotion settles she hears Shady say.."hey guys..thanks for your help..you know how these things can go..." and with head hanging somewhat he walks to Cricket and says, "My pretty friend...Happy Purrday to you...I've, uh, well, you see, um...OH HECK...I think your birthday present may be found later..I saw it slithering into that periwinkle bush in the corner. Best grasssnake in the neighborhood. He blushes then headbonks Cricket and nervously moves toward the treat corner.

Cricket loves the antics of all her friends, she assures Shady and Tuffy that their gifts are welcomed and at least she got to see them. She tells them to come and eat with everyone. It's almost nap time. We still have a pinata to play with, fireworks and dancing!!!

Velvet and Spice emerge from the wormhole bringing a box of wild game bon bon's for Cricket's present. They are wearing t-shirt material summer dresses in pastel pink and lilac. the dresses have cap sleeves and heart-shaped necklines and are mid-calf in length.
they have brought salmon pate and crackers for snack time, and fudge brownies and ingredients to make bailey's milkshakes for the humans.
they look around for Mac and Grommie as they help to set up the food tables. They even brought a maypole with pastel paper streamers for all to play with.
It will be a fun, fun day today at the party !!!They have Cheri's permission to stay overnight if they want, they just need to call her to tell Cheri their decision. Cheri loves them very much and wants them to have a good time !!!

Emma ate more than her fill at lunch and finds a shady spot to take a nap. She is so round she looks like one of the rocks bordering the garden! Thierry is torn between wanting to take a nap and wanting to try and catch the butterflies flitting amongst the flowers. He decides that he can nap later and gracefully leaps high into the air but still the butterflies are out of his reach. Gracie joins the kits playing at the May pole for a game of bat the streamers.

Shady wonders if he'll have a chance to cut the grass a bit with beautiful Betty. He's admired her catster profile from afar and contemplated a nice lively jig. He loves his latest dance he calls Dancing With Snakes...it's chock full of sommersaults and pounces. He thinks he's too nervous though to ask her. She seems to be enamored with George. He doesn't want to be rude so he waits for a later opportunity.
