Pricilla looks at Blackbeard and smiles, "I think our present is a hit!" as she snuggles up to him and licks his face. "Thank you for helping me with this present for my friend Cricket" Pricilla knows that all of the kitty friends are a little down today and wanted to give everyone something special to lift everyones spirits (litterally!) What a wonderful day it is turning out to be. Hey, what is that over there? It's a rainbow! Do you think there is really gold at the end?

Sugar spies a long black tail swishing from the corner where the butterflies gather and quickly heads that way. It is Shadow...chasing the highest butterflies and he looks so young and springy! She slows to a cautious, ladylike approach and purrrrs a hello to Shadow who turns unexpectedly in midair to see who was there and lands headfirst into the periwinkle bush. Sugar giggles and runs over to see if Shadow is ok...

Smudge stops Cricket for a moment to tell her how much she loves the party. She is having such a good time, including the wonderful hot air balloon ride. (She loves to be up high.) Chance loved dancing with BooBoo. He let her set the dancing pace. (He loves showing off his dancing moves, but he's aware that some ladies do not like a flashy dancer.)

Sugar lowers her head shyly then laughs as Shadow stands before her with periwinkle flowers falling off his fur. He is so dashing and amazing to her. She flutters her whiskers a bit and purrrs her approval of his attention. The two decide to go find a bit of tuna nip casserole together so they can get to know each other better. Sugar tries to keep her nervous tail from getting so crazy like it does when she's excited. It makes her feel so klutzy and unladylike. She wonders how Cricket maintains such a gracious demeanor..When she flicks her tail it's in such a gracious, lovely way.

Tuffy makes his way to and from the snack tables so often that he decided to pawz in the quiet place where BooBoo and Emma are snoozing. As he lays down in the soft grass he looks over just in time to see his brother Shady reach the top of the flag pole and he's waving to the hot air balloon as it exits the yard with Cricket and some of her friends. "Show off..says Tuffy"....Then he closes his eyes for a quick nap.

Who says it's Disney where dreams come true..I think it's birthday parties and skating rinks!
Cricket's meowmy is not feeling well at all, so she is going to try and relax for a bit, but the party is still going strong. Please have fun.

Wow, first Pricilla and now Shadow! Romance seems to be in the air. Debsterwiz must leave the party now. The zoo crew is welcome to stay as long as it's ok with Crickets parents. Sleep over is ok too. I will leave the wormhole open so they can come back when they are ready. Be good kiddies and remember your maners. That goes especially for you Milo!!!
Happy purrday Cricket, thanks for inviting the zoo crew and I hope you enjoy your party!

Oreo is mesmerized with the flight of the air balloon and catches a glimpse of the rainbow and wonders what it would be like to run from one end of it, up into the clouds then back down to the other end. The thought brings her to an involuntary purr and she dozes slightly with the thought and gentle rising of the balloon. She's also giving thought to the mysterious cat who's also known as 'The Littlest Frenchman'...Thierry.

2bpurring has to go now, but my kitties can stay for the sleep over as long as they are good..I'm sure BooBoo will sleep most of the time (unless Chance asks for another dance) and Betty is getting to know George and Shady..I only worry about my pirate.."you better be a good boy with Pricilla, she's a lady!"

Oh dear! My kids are late for the party! It is so warm here and storms are on the way again, so they've been napping in the shade of their fenced enclosure......I do hope that they haven't missed the entire party! Going to have to unplug the puter for the next few hours if the storms are as bad as they are predicting....like Sunday's or worse.
Cricketsmama, I do hope you are not coming down with something. Rest and let everyone else take care of the guests. Of course, once my Chopper and Marie get going, they may be too much for anyone to handle. They can be quite wild when they get excited!

Right, here goes with my three monsters - this is their first time through the wormhole!! Pickle's bringing her red feather tickler as she can't bear to be parted from it, but she's happy to share! Eric can be a little boisterous so watch out for him, and Button's a little shy (she'll probably hide behind Pickle, which is quite funny as she's twice Pickle's size!!) Hope they behave themselves!!

Ruggles and Rotley stretch out on the futon which tops their viewing platform. Since the platform is only about a foot off the ground and about ten feet square, they feel that it is accessible to all and will hold most of the kits. The futon is soft and tufted, and the pattern of mice and flowers is very pretty. And when the futon is removed, the platform is a wonderful dance floor.
"I love the party, but I just wish Windi and Willow would arrive," says Ruggles very softly to his brother. "We haven't seen them in sooooo long."
"Quit worrying and don't look so glum. It's rude, especially at a party. And they'll be here," smiles Rotley, covering a yawn. "Those nip treats were wonderful!"
"Okay," replies Ruggles. He sighs quietly, as Andy tears past him with Crickett in hot pursuit.

Cricket is having so much fun chasing her little Andy. She then stops and says "Cake Time" She cuts up the cake and passes it out to each of her friends. The music is still going and everyone is eating to their hearts content. The fireworks should start soon. Meowmy said any of the kitties can spend the night if it okay with their Meowmies. Cricket feels like she is in wonderland with all her friends and the magical day she has had.

Shady is worn out from racing up and down the maypole and joins the others for some of Cricket's great smelling purrday cake. He thanks Cricket for the cake and says thank you little lovely for a terrific party and I'm sorry the grasssnake I brought you from Oregon managed to wriggle off. I'm sure it hasn't gotten far and when things settle down you're sure to find it here in the garden somewhere. Chasing it should provide you with lots of fun. Cricket goes on to serve the cake to the others as well. Shady spots Milo and sits beside him and they eat cake together.

Oreo joins Buttercup and asks her how the cake is as she gets comfy and prepares to eat her own. Buttercup sweetly tells Oreo it's purrrrrrfect! Oreo likes Buttercup and thinks it's nice they will be able to visit for a few minutes. There's so many furrriends at the party and everything is soooo festive. They giggle as they watch Tuffy rising from his nap and stretching in the direction of the cake. There's one boy who never misses out on the food train...If he's not careful our meowmommy will have to put him on a diet! "I heard that Sis...this is all muscle!" The girls return to giggling and Tuffy decides to take his cake elsewhere to eat it in peace. His parting words were.."Girls! Argh!"

Bailey and Bosley FINALLY appear for the special occasion. Bosley overslept and couldn't quite remember the theme for today's party....so, being Bosley, he is comfortably attired in a too-tight blue Speedo (yes, his tummy is hanging down!) his light blue flippers, a cool Hawaiian shirt, and goggles. He's just HOPING that there's swimming cuz he LOVES WATER!!
