Daddy got out the pool after seeing Bosley, so the kits are so excited. Cricket has a lot of extra suits as does Fred, so then all the kitties can swim!

It's getting dark here early for some reason tonight, but the kitties dont mind, it's still warm enough to play in the pool. Daddy said it's time for fireworks so the kitties scramble on the futon and all around to watch all the display. The fireworks start lighting up the summer sky. The kitties are all oohing and aahhing.
Meowmy passes out some real cream ice cream bars and the kitties eat them while watching the fireworks.
After the wonderful display, Meowmy tells the kitties, if you would like to stay over, you are welcome, if not the wormholes are open all night, so you can leave when you want.
Cricket has had the best day ever!!! She has the best friends ever too!!! Tonight will be full of ghost stories, mice stories, snacks and friendship!!Posted 3 years ago by cricketsmama #

Buttercup says good night to Cricket's Meowmy and thanks her for letting her and Penny come to the party. She says that she'd better take Penny home before she hurts herself, and anyway, they want to be there when their own meowmy gets home from work so they can tell her about the party. Meanwhile, Penny licks Cricket's face to say goodbye, then she thanks Cricket's Meowmy for the ice cream. The sisters wave tails and paws to the other kitties and head for the wormhole.

Tuffy, Oreo, Shady & Sugarfoot are all pretty worn out and think maybe it's a good time to slip through the wormhole too. They all hurry over to Cricket and give her birthday headbonks & purrrrs. Thank you sooo much for inviting us to your great party. Tell your meowmy we are very grateful for her kindness and all the fun stuff! They wave to all the guests and one by one they leap through the wormhole right behind Buttercup and Penny! Thaaaaaaaannnnnkkk Yooouuuuuu!!!!!

velvet and spice have decided to stay overnight. they love cool breezes at night on cheri's porch, so this will be even more fun....friends, fireworks, night time hunting, curl up together with friends, it's going to be really great !!! they call cheri to remind her that she gave permission for an overnight and that they would be back mid-morning. cheri says ok, of course, and tells them there will be cream cheese at breakfast time, whenever that may be. velvet and spice smile and nod...cheri is so very good to them....

Hi everyone! *recovers from worm-hole journey - how DO those kitties do it?* CM, I've got a concoction of ginger ale, pineapple juice and a couple of limes, and some comfy lawn sittin' chairs. Nice night to watch the kitties - cheers!

Happy Birthday, Cricket.
I've been away from my computer for two days so I'm just catching up on things. I didn't have time to read all your birthday pages, but the entries I've scanned tell me you are a very (justifiably) spoiled kitty with parents who understand just how lucky they are to be your servants.
I suspect you are sleeping now after your big day but don't forget to wake up early tomorrow and tell Meowry and Daddy how much you appreciate them.

Cricket, CJ just came and game me a sound smack of her little striped paw. Seems I forgot she and Misty had big plans tonight. They were coming to your party, but Rotten Mom forgot to get their Wormhole Tickets. They were stranded here with boring old me and now they're afraid Cricket will thing they forgot.
Please make sure Cricket knows it was my oversight--not theirs--and they'd like to have her over for a playdate one day soon. Check catster for special treat. Purrrrrrrrr....CJ, Misty and Bad Lisa

The kitties wake up from their slumber, eat some breakfast and chat a little longer then go through the wormhole to their Meowmies. They all stayed up late, talking, laughing watching the fireworks. It was the best.

I heard on WTAM that there was a lot of commotion on Cleveland's west side. Sky Chief Traffic reported about all the bright decorations sited in a Cleveland back yard. There were reports of loud music, meowing, and purring in the area. I also heard that police officers from the 4th district had to be pulled off their regular beat to help with traffic in your neighborhood! ;op

The boys thank CM and CD for a great time. Thanks for letting us spend the night!
Bog, Andy and Clark give lots of hugs to Cricket and Maddie and headbonks (gentle) to CM's tummy for the baby. They give little harder headbonks to Fred and Clark gives a soft sandpaper kiss to Cricket. He blushes and rushes to the worm hole, waving his tail like a flag. Andy follows closely behind (wonder if that was Clark's intention?) Bye, see you soon!
