Shelley, if you are willing to set that up it would be wonderful. Then Susie wouldn't have to deal with checks coming in from all over.
P.S. Three cheers to the vet! That is a pretty fair price considering that they are dealing with a feral.

I wonder if Susie has a bank account to cash the checks...she might have to go to one of those check cashing places and they charge a fee and I don't know if they cash personal checks...anyone know? I sent cash to Susie once...wrapped in a sheet of paper so you couldn't tell...

As we all did before, you can set it up and pay it me and I can then either send it to Susie, or drive it out to her. I am willing to help how whatever everyone decides. I can setup the chip in via my paypal if that works.

I don't think anybody charges to cash money orders, do they? maybe those who want to send Susie some money could also do it that way. Just a thought to consider.

You know it's wonderful that everyone wants to help Susie in this situation but we really need to get organized on the same page. I'm reading all of these post this morning and we seem to be all over the board here.
Just a suggestion but maybe we could do this by committee and do this in groups. One group for the vet expense and the other for sending Pet Smart cards for the after care expenses. What do others think?

Deb your right we need to organize and figure out how we are going to do this. A chipin page or just send her checks..linda that was good thinking to see if she even has an account that she would be able to deposit all the incoming checks (I don't). I guess we need to hear from Susie as to what she would prefer...I will email her.

SMM's pay pal account was an easy way to go when she helped Susie get the kittens to the shelter. I know that SMM will do whatever it takes to help Susie out...with help from all of us. Karin, email me the info again and I will happily contribute. Susie can use it to pay back the manfoe or apply it toward food and litter for Siameezer....heck or gas money to get out of Dodge when she is ready.
Susie, if you want me to make out a check directly to the manfoe, I can do that too. I am just so happy that Siameezer will not bring another litter of babies into this world!

one can go to www.petsmart.com and buy a gift card or email gift certificate right from their website. i did that last night for susie because i know her snail mail address. i would assume that all major retailers do this...

Hey you guys...I'm never gonna stop crying if you keep this up. I can't tell you how nice it is to know there are people like yourselves out there that still care for their fellow man/woman. It just has to be the fact that we're all animal lovers here that makes the difference. I hope you all can grasp how Thankful I am for all of your support.
I can also see you all need alittle info. First off...with me not being able to work for awhile,I don't have any sort of account anymore. Hopefully I'll be able to go back to work soon & change that. As for money orders...They charge you to cash them just the same as a personal check. Whatever happened to the days where they would do anything like that for free?
I'm computer illiterate...BIG TIME...so I don't understand the 'PayPal' you all are talking about. I don't know what to recommend other than taking a risk by sending small notes of cash. I've never,ever had a problem with anything not showing up in the mail when sent. But,Ialso understand your hesitance to do something like that. I've gone thru life listening to my gut instincts. All I can say is what feels right to you. Petsmart cards for the food have always been a Godsend. It sounds like this 'Paypal' might be the way to go,but as I said, I don't Even understand how that works. I know that Karin,as she mentioned,has used it.
I can't tell you all often enuf that you are the best bunch of people on the planet!!! Well,it's that time...Gotta take Siameezer to the spa in about 15 mins. Poor baby. A raccoon seems to have tried to get into the cage she's in last night. I'm so glad I secured it before I crashed last night. It still must have scared the wits out of her.All I can say is...God have mercy on the doc who will be working on her. LOL

Susie, I know you are gone already, when you pick up Ms. Siameezer will you be keeping her in the same place as Hopper? Now that she is caught are you going to release him back into the yard? Good luck with her surgery and recovery.

www dot paypal dot com and click on send money blue button. You will need to type in my email address at kacc11 at gmail dot com This email is the one that is my public email address that I use only for business. I will use this email only for people to send money to susie via paypal. I will get the money to Susie by driving out to deliver it so that she gets the money asap.
Let me know if anyone has any other suggestions. If you do not feel comfortable sending it to me via paypal, no problem as you can always send a check directly to Susie.
