  1. Susie it is regretful to hear she lost the babies, but it is true she can now live a safer, less fruitful life making herself a one kitty kitten mill. Poor thing! I am glad it is all fine and settled!

  2. I've been coming back on TDK to hear how she did. Thanks, Susie, for letting us know. And bless you, sweet sister, for your untiring effort to catch these two and make their future a happier, safer one.

  3. If there's extra money, I vote that Susie keep it so she can leave live-in non-helper...

  4. Susie, I'm so glad that your girl is home. Don't give up on her turning from her feral ways...you just never know.
Consider my mailed in contribution in the "extra" category. Use it for food, litter or better yet for yourself. You need not account anything of my part. I want to see you smile and get yourself on track again and not dependent on the live in non-helper.

  5. Susie, glad that she made it thru the surgery just fine, hope that she is safe on the porch. You had mentioned that you thought the racoons had messed with her in the cage the night before. Prayers and wishes for her recovery and safe well-being....and again bless you for being the good person that you are.

  6. Susie, I didn't have a chance to get back to you until now. I am so pleased that everything has come out okay for you and Siameezer. I'll get a donation to you as soon as I can. I am glad that we have this opportunity to support you with something that is so dear to you.

  7. Susie, it looks like you have more vet bills on the horizon with the other feral that needs a vet visit. Hopefully there will be enough in the pot to take care of him and his eye problems. Hopefully after this you can concentrate on getting a job and building a new life for yourself. Have you considered asking around at the various vets office to see who might need to hire a vet tech or support staff? You are so patient and kind with animals that it would be a perfect job for you. Plus it might come with the benefit of reduced cost for future vet services.

  8. OK - I have also sent a donation via SMM's PayPal account. As everyone says, even though the vet's bill for Siameezer has been covered, there are the other ferals as well. The rest can either go onto a PetSmart card - OR - as Cheri suggested - can go into Susie's "Getaway Fund"!

  9. Whisper was the one with the eye problem and according to Susie, she has been adopted by a friend of the woman who helped Susie with getting Whisper to a vet.

Susie, I can email you with working out coming possibly tomorrow to drop off the donations for the vet visit and all.

I received two more donations - one from Rubia and one from Metsa. For anyone else who wants to make a donation, we have met the vet bill and the rest is going into a petsmart card for Susie. Any further donations, I would like to suggest it go to either a petsmart card or a gift card for Susie. Thank you all for your generous donations. You all are rockstars!

  13. Hey all...Just wanted to let you know (most of you are already aware) that Hissy (Siameezer) is out in her world once again. I haven't seen her since her release on Monday morn. but,I'm hoping she'll make an appearance soon. She needs to start eating right again.

As for Buddy...I could be mistaken on the foxtail. The antibiotics I've been putting in his eye seem to have cleared up any watreing or swelling around it. It might've just been a deep cut from the fight he had w/Hopper. I guess Hopper just wanted to leave a lingering memory of himself.

  14. She is probably just being a little putz to show her displeasure of being confined, she will be back once her fur is relaxed again. Good to hear about Buddy and his eye healing. How is Mr. Hopper doing, is he getting any easier to touch?
