Hi ! Only 15 minutes left at work. Yea !! Meeting the girls tonight. There are 4 of us that get together several times a year. One is a psychic/medium (for those of you who believe) and she always has insights for us, and always has Tarot cards with her. Always fun.. and I need fun and laughter!!

CM - I called her a week after Mom passed and we had a very interesting conversation. :) I was concerned as I hadn't heard from her.... her Mom passed last July and she was her Mom's caretaker - and is currently her Dad's caretaker. She just couldn't call, write, be there. I understand completely.

Poor lady. I can imagine the toll she deals with. It's hard being a caretaker. I took care of my mom for 3 years till she got so bad, that I couldn't do it anymore and had to put her in a home, which killed me but the best thing was she improved and so did I :) She passed last year but at least I had 38 years with her.

38 years wasn't long at all. She had me later in her life so when she passed she was 81. My father passed when I was 7. I talk to my mom all the time and I figure at least I had 38 years with her, more than some people get, shorter than others. I miss her daily but know she's with me, Maddie gives me looks that looks just like her grandma!!! I tell Maddie that Grandma Jane lives on!!

Hi 2P, CM, lisaeylau, and Catherine. I was just busy packing up my boss's office. I packed up about 80% of it. The rest has to be packed tomorrow when he is in the office.
2P, I believe in mediums. I would have lots of questions for your friend. I actually had a chart done up for me when I was in my late teens early 20's.
You are lucky you had your Mom as long as you did 2P and CM. Mine passed away when I was 9. Second Mom is really a step-mom who adopted my sister and I. Too much to talk about that but all I can say is I don't consider her my real mom.

Well Lisaeylau, try packing things that aren't normal size in to small size boxes. Let's just say I used up a lot of boxes. I am glad I have a nice small fan at my desk to cool me down. I could use a nice long tall cool drink though.

I'm back in Cat Spring today. It's been quiet. Can't submit any more job app's until Hubby fixes some technical glitches, so that'll have to wait 'til Saturday. All the districts are shutting down 'til after the 4th, so I'm actually going to concentrate elsewhere for now--weeding out stuff, maybe actually getting some downtime...who knows?
