    How are all y'all this gorgeous summer evening? :)
    Sorry for the chilliness there too MS...bummer. :(
    We've only just now escaped the cold and rain here. Friday and Saturday are forecast to be 81 and 86 respectively! A tad TOO warm for me, unless there's a nice ocean breeze to go with it. My ideal temp would be 70-75.

  5. Well thank you KW, very kind of you but I guess we just have to get used to it occuring on a seasonal basis. (is that sarcasm creeping in again, must be using it to keep warm). There is a lovely very big rainbow outside the window, makes the day just a little brighter. See KK is still having trouble with her phone, have tried again to sort it out this end and she is trying her end.

  6. Hi to anyone still awake. I left a an update on the other thread,but,had a need to come here & brag like a proud mama. Ms.Hissy finally came home tonight about 9p.m. Alittle thin & very hungry. I gave her a big plate of her own of canned food. She ate the whole plate load. She's now on the back steps washing & sitting with her not so baby boy Naughty. Hopper will now be getting his freedom tomorrow after I've fed him good. I just hope he's mellowed way down & behaves himself.

  10. If you all could've seen the sun here in California this evening before it set,it would've blown you away. There's so much smoke in the air from all the wildfires that the sun was bright orange/red. It was beautiful,but sad at the same time.

  17. Who, moi? Nah, couldn't been. :-) We normally chat at least once a day here but the time difference gets in the way now. My mother sent miniKK a txt message on her new cell phone, pretty good for an old biddy.(I'm allowed to call her that, it's a term of endearment in our family) truly,really, uhuh it is.

    KW...I can't be sure he (Buddy) has one in his eye. The biotics I was putting in it,took all the watering & swelling away. He still has a scab of sort to the outsideof it. I'll just keep watching it to see how it responds.

  23. Unfortunately not KW, they have been there today dealing with great pools of water that have built up. It looks like a lake down there now and there are even some ducks swimming around happily. They have just left for the day as it is almost 5pm, Shadz is happy they have gone and the rumbling has stopped.

  26. Miss Hissy (I *love* that name) sounds a bit like Bob's girlfriend, who I finally named Trixie after the pretty whore in the tv show Deadwood. She demands breakfast and dinner with a pathetic cry, and says thank you with a lightning bolt paw. I'm never without a battle scar. Right now, on my left hand, there at two puncture marks right on top of a big, plump vein, and a huge purple bruise. My clients keep asking, Did you have to go back to the ER? Is that from a bad IV? No, it's just a love swat from my patio kitty...

  27. Evening everyone, I have been sitting outside watching the beautiful AZ sunset and then the lightning show off in the distance, even had a very small amount of rain. Not enough though to break the weather pressure system that is messing with so many ppls bodies, including mine...that's where I get the sinus headaches, sigh.

    SMM, it was only a little bit over a hundred today, got a nice breeze now though.

    Now to read the backthreads....

  29. I'm safe from Mum Susie, a cell phone is as far into technology as she is likely to go. Even the video has been a challenge for her until I wrote every action down for her. KW, we are up hill from all the earthworks thankfully. I would hate to live in one of the houses they build down there, in winter the sun barely gets into the gully.
