Also sent a copy of the link to the Ellen Degeneris show and may send one to the Oprah Show, along with Dateline and 20/20. Someone with a lot of influence should get involved, they can help bring this to light faster than anything else. IMHO...

Crossposted to a political blog; Richmond SPCA has already received a couple of extra donations as a result, and Sinclair Broadcasting and the local Fox affiliate have been written. (They're apparently giving a canned response that contains inaccuracies.)

The Fox home page says they are working with other groups to trap and remove the poor cats. Is this just Spin Doctoring, or have they really been shamed into behaving like human beings?

Unless you can get independent verification re: those 'other groups,' I'd say it's spin doctoring - since the bulldozing has already occurred.

Thanks everyone....I've noticed that it's become a "non-news" item all of a sudden but I'll do some digging and see if I can find an update on what's going on.
We, those of us local, need to protest Fox...power to the furbabies!

Long ago I used to admire the Fox Network. Now they have turned into tabloid journalists and bullies.
Let's hit them where it hurts most: the wallet. Look carefully at your cable bill and call your cable provider to ask about what channels are FOX affiliates. You may not be able to cancel everything, but the cable providers will inform FOX about the inquiries.
