You knew guys from Telecom! And you survived? My brother was a faults technician for Telecom for 21 years and then got made redundant. Telecom are pretty much loathed in New Zealand as they had a monopoly on the local lines. They have been made to split into different divisions now and 'unbundle the local loop'. Now other people can offer broadband without having to buy it from Telecom.
