Troll is still with us.

  1. I thought the Kittenmaster had taken care of that?

  2. I did think so too.

  3. KM, is snorgler logging in from a different IP address?

    Posted 3 years ago by anncetera2 #

  4. KM, please just delete 'em as s/he posts 'em. I try to skip over their posts as I go down the thread, but I've preferred my troll-free days infinitely more. Makes for more relaxed TDK perusing...

  5. He/She is playing nicely now. Maybe he wants to fit in.

  6. If you read today's comment by said person and then think about it, you realize they're still being nasty, just a LOT more subtle about it.

  7. True, referring to "spunk" in that context is actually a dirty aside (referring to the Clintons) that should be removed, STAT! KM - do your stuff! pretty please? And make this a permanent ban. This person is just nasty.

  8. You're right, Catless. Kittenmaster, could you please check this out? Snorgler really kicks up the eewwwwww factor here in sneaky little ways, and he/she is simply not welcome.

  9. Just in case Slade sees this and gets upset again - Slade, this doesn't refer to you AT ALL, it's about someone else who posts comments on each day's kitten.

  10. KM, this comment by snorgler is dirty--I don't know if in GB it means anything, but here it is very sexual-oriented! This person needs to be permanently blocked ASAP! Thank you.

  11. Yes..it was a dirty about Clinton and nasty stuff. I personally don't always read every single comment on the pic of the day kitten...so I've not noticed this post until I read this topic. The comment is subtle but you guys are right. It's sexual in nature. I guess they thought they were being funny...I'd find it far more offensive if it pertained to the harming of people and animals or if it were worded in explicit terms but for what it is..I'm not gonna get too ruffled. I don't know the history of this snorgler so I probably shouldn't even comment to this. If you guys say they're out of line..I trust you.

  12. I remember someone saying something about snorgler being from another country? Could be a language thing, perhaps it's not so offensive to them (don't think it would be taken as offensively in the country for example). No defending some of the comments that have been made previously, but perhaps whoever snorgler is has had a rap on the knuckles from KM and is now trying to fit in?

Just lil ole me playing devil's advocate...

  13. Oh, no, this person definitely meant what he said. Kind of you to think well of him, but his behavior is deliberate.

  14. thank you KM - I see the nasty comment has been duly removed; your vigilance is much appreciated! Good of you to leave the non-nasty comments up; positive reinforcement, right?

  15. Catlessinto - the comment is still there when i click on yesterdays kittens?

Posted 3 years ago by metsa #

  16. doh! I guess I've just gotten too good at skipping over the post once I see who posted it

KM - Please - remove this post from yesterday's kitten. It's offensive, and they've certainly intended it that way.

  17. It's still there (sigh)!

  18. I must be a page or two behind everyone else here. I had no idea that the word "spunk" had any sexual or otherwise offensive connotations. It only makes me think of the Lou Grant/Mary Richards exchange from the first episode of "The Mary Tyler Moore Show." I didn't have any idea why the post was considered inappropriate.

  19. Oh yes! If you have seen "Sex and the City" it is one of Samantha's episodes. I hesitate to go into it further here--if you want email me at shebas_mom at msn dot com and I'll explain it to you.

  20. I've never seen that particular show. I don't watch TV much, and when I do, I stick to channels like Animal Planet and The Food Network.

Seems TV has changed since the '70s.

  21. Perhaps its more of a British slang? I think most people here would get the double meaning, even if not be offended by it. Or perhaps I just watch too much tv :).
