The name Gabriel means "man of God," or "God has shown himself mighty."

He's a good, sweet cat with a fine, strong name.

Leeny, you are such a wonderful person for taking in little Gabriel and giving him a loving home - for however long that might be. I am praying that he's just a little "shell shocked" and doesn't have any severe problems.

My S-in-L has a kitty that is blind and she does fine. She just walks along the walls. My sister had a dog that was deaf. They would just get in front of the dog to motion to her.

It's not easy with a special needs pet, but I'll bet that if anyone would be up for the challenge, it would be you.
