Hi, I am OuizefromCentralFL. My real name is Louise. I have had the nickname of Weeze or Weezy my whole life and Ouize is just a variation in spelling, it's still pronounced Weeze. I live in Central FL with my husband of 21 years and our menagerie of animals. We have 4 horses, varying numbers of cows, (only) 6 cats and three dogs. We spend most of our free time caring for my husband's elderly mother and handicapped sister who live next door to us. It's a great life, but very demanding, time-wise. I lurk on TDK every day, but seldom post since everyone else says all the things I am thinking! I love to gaze at the beautiful kittens and would love to have more cats, but currently we are at critical mass in the cat dept.

I live in Lake County, outside Fruitland Park, which is just north of Leesburg. If you have heard of 'The Villages', I live very close to The Villages and they are encroaching ever closer!

Hi Ouize, sounds like you live in the country and I'm sure the envy of many here. Would be so nice to share life with such a wonderful assortment of God's gentle creatures. My brother liked a girl we called Weezy when he was in high school. You didn't by any chance grow up in Maryland did you?

Elene_York_PA -- I grew up in southern Indiana, right on the Ohio River. I have lived in Florida now longer than I lived in Indiana, but I'm still a Hoosier through and through! We live on a 2-track dirt road about 1/4 mile from the highway with cow pastures on three sides of us and our 13 acres are a haven we enjoy every day!
TigersMama--I can drive via the backroads and be at the Albertson's in the Villages in about 10-15 minutes!

TigersMama - I work in Tavares, so I don't get to go to the Villages except on the weekends occasionally. I'll try to get up there this weekend, at least to find out exactly where your store is.

HelenB - The Soup to Nuts diner is across the street and about a quarter mile away from the main school district office. I worked in that building for about 20 years and have recently moved to one of the 'satellite' offices in downtown Tavares.
On another note, I met Tiger's Mama on Saturday!!! I went to her place of work in the Villages! She is a delightful person, just as she comes across in her posts. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting with her and her boss is a nice guy too!
