    Good morning, Everyone! Ann, I can't wait to see the book. Although I'm not sure if I can train my Girls. It seems to have worked the other way around!

    I have a haircut appointment in a bit and so am filled with apprehension, because I never know quite how it will turn out. The girl that cuts my hair is also a friend. She's gone through a bad divorce but now has met a nice man. Depending on which man she's talking about, and how excited she gets, the potential is there to come home with REALLY short hair. So I always ask her now "What kind of day are you having?". If she mentions the ex, I tell her "Step away from the scissors!".

    LOL WWM...Maybe you should get someone in a stable relationship to do your hair, I too would be apprehensive!! Can you imagine, if she just broke up with new boyfriend and had to deal with her ex...yikes!!! Maybe if you take in a magazine with super hunks it will keep her mind off of the men in her life??

    Yay - it was a good day and I came home with a decent haircut!!! Now, if only I could get it to look like she does.... I'm afraid that God forgot to give me the "hair styling gene".

    Hi all! I'm a bit late today!
    Computer at the gym had gotten sopme kind of virus, so I couldn't get on this morning. I worked there until ten and then got to the office at 10:30 to a whole bunch of work. I met a friend for coffee at 11:45. And I've been catching up on stuff around here the rest of the time.

    Latest work news: Boss informed me this morning when I got in that his Boss who he's going to call to resign will be away until Wednesday of next week, so now he can't quit on Monday - we'll have to wait at least until Wednesday! He's infuriated with the company today for a variety of reasons and can't wait to walk away.

    Evil Boss, by the way, was nuts again this morning. She wanted the music from her brother's (who's the owner, but almost never around) ipod played on the sound system, but we couldn't get it to play. When we turned on the ipod, everything was in Japanese or Chinese or something! One day last week I got a call from one of the other people at the front desk, asking me if I had changed the music from the ipod to radio - I hadn't, but I didn't even know that we were supposed to play the ipod! The ironic thing was that this morning while we had the radio on, a bunch of people came up to comment on how much they liked this music - they don't care for the ipod music and it's not good work-out music.

    And I'm sure there are more important things Evil Boss could be doing!

    I could use a latte now for the afternoon and is there any cheesecake on the dessert table. Can't linger long as my work keeps piling up before the holiday weekend.
    WWM, glad your haircut turned out okay. I'm like you...always looks good after the cut, but I can never get it the same way.
    GD, I'm glad you are keeping us posted on how things are going for you.

    We had horrendous storms at work and power went out briefly, so we kept the computers shut off for a while. Boss was so disgusted with the company and then when the weather went nuts, he decided just to kick back, have a cup of tea, smoke his pie and look through some magazines. At 4:15 he told me I may as well go home early since there was a break in the weather. That's about an hour and a half earlier than usual, so that was great! The drive home took longer than usual because several traffic lights were out as a result of the weather, but I got home safely and am now hanging with the boys. Mi seemed scared when I got home, but now he's calmed down nicely because he's got his Mama around.

    Yep, staying in. Ghost Hunters is on, but they're old episodes. I may watch anyway if they're good. :)
