Everyone is invited! I am up early to make sure the wormhole is up and running. There are red white and blue decorations up and it is a beautiful day. Remember that there is a parade at noon for kitties who want to watch or participate. We will have a big grill cookout party later, and fireworks and a beach bonfire. We also have some indoor hiding places for our friends who don't like fireworks. It will be a fun day!

Fred and Cricket are so excited to see Gem and wish her Happy Birthday. They are already dressed, Fred in a flag t-shirt, with blue shorts and Cricket is in a red, white and blue sundress with stars all over it. They have a beautiful new pink collar with diamonds, a feather toy and some play mice for Gem's present.
Meowmy also gave them some salmon cookies for the kits and a container of pina coladas and a cake for the adults at the party.
Fred and Cricket jump through the wormhole, hoping they are not too early, but they will help get everything ready if they are. They make it through and run to find Gem. They see her and give her a big hug and nuzzles and wish her a big Happy Birthday!!Posted 1 year ago by cricketsmama #

The boys have meowma and daddy up early to go to the party.
Bog is dressed in kahki shorts with a blue t-shirt with fireworks on it.
Clark is dressed in blue jeans shorts and a t-shirt with a copy the Declaration of Independence on it. Clark says that daddy says this applies to kitties too.
Andy, the tail-less wonder, is dressed in red shorts and a blue t-shirt with a white ball cap (did he swipe this from daddy? he's not telling).
Bog carries a bowl of daddy's famous tuna ice cream. Clark carries a thermos of Arnold Palmers for the furless party goers (for those not from Florida that's 1/2 unsweet iced tea and 1/2 lemonade). Andy carries a bag with a change of clothes for him (he's still a baby and a bit clumsy).
Meowma says to come back through the worm hole to change into different clothes before the fireworks so that they don't get bit up by buggies.
Now, be good, listen to NNGM and remember to thank you hosts.
The boys rush up to Gem and give purrday head bonks. HAPPY PURRDAY, GEM!!!!
Clark sees "his" Cricket and give a gentle nuzzle and sandpaper kiss. Hi, he purrs.

Well Sammy & Oliver are so excited to be going to the pawty. Happy Purrday Gem. You will recognize them by Oliver's tuxedo and Sammy's red coat. They make quite a handsome pair, IMHO. They are bringing some toys and gator tails chicken wings for the pawty. Sammy got the wing recipe from the Ale House and that is his specialty.

Velvet and Spice have arrived at the party. They are both wearing t-shirts and shorts. Velvet's are blue with white stars, Spice's are red and white stripes.
For snacks, they've brought wild game bon bons, for the humans they've brought fudge brownies.
And for Gem's present, they've brought a cat dancer with yellow paper streamers on it. What fun she will have !!!

OOOps, we forgot something !!!
Even though it's really not for the 4th of July, Velvet and Spice go back into the wormhole and return with another maypole with red, white, and blue streamers.
This one is bigger and with more streamers on it than at the last party !!!Now it's really time to party !!!

=^..^= Here comes MoJo through the worm hole to celebrate with you. He has had his birthday cake, and shared with his brothers and sisters. (in fact he was crying when I left him to eat it alone, so I had to let everyone else in to share, silly boy) I took pictures, and hope to get them up on catster.

Willow and Windi tumble through the worm hole hoping that they aren't too late for the parade. Mama went for a bike ride instead of getting them ready.
The Girls are wearing bright red short-shorts with knee high white boots. They have on blue vests with stars on them and white cowgirl hats that have a ribbon brim to shade their faces. Windi insisted on bringing a "stick" pony - what till she sees that Gem has a real one! Willow has a beach bag with their bikinis for the boat ride later.
The girls are bringing their traditional pinata for Gem's birthday and it's in the shape of a giant firecracker. It's filled with Greenies and all kinds of treats. Mama is sending a huge plate of brisket and pinto beans for the humans.
Windi is very excited about their gift for Gem - it is a bottle of fireflies!!!

Juuei is a little hard to explain. It's an affirmative No. Like when you see a really handsome man and you say to your friend "He doesn't look too bad, does he?" If your friend agrees with you he might say "Juuei."
Misu is a female variant of Misse which is prolly the most common kitty name in Finland for both sexes. In slang misu also means a hot young girl.
Hipsu comes from the verb 'hipsutella' which means dainty gait (like elves). Hipsu is my macho man - I am sure he would feel twice as emasculated if he knew what I call him.
Miska is the only one I named myself. His ex-owners are a Russian girl and a Ukrainian man. They called him Admon which is an old Russian name. But the name was difficult for me to pronounce and I changed it to Miska which is a Finnish variant for Russian Misha.

Windi tentatively approaches the pony but she's a little bit scared. You would think that coming from Texas she would be happy to see a pony. But she's never seen one up close.
Willow tries to give the pony a bite of her tuna sandwich. She looks around for Gem to see when Gem is going to start giving pony rides!

Cricket runs up to Windi and Willow and gives the girls a hug. She hasn't seen her friends in such a long time. She is munching on a tuna sammie and tells them what a blast she is having at Gem's party. She wants to know when they can go skating, they need to invite Gem, Nibs and Nora too!!

Willow and Windi whip out their daytimers to see what day is good for skating. Windi's schedule is fairly open, saying only "Eat, nap, eat, sleep....". Willow remembers that on Monday they have to help their mama dust the house and asks Cricket how Tuesday looks?
