Cricket looks at her calendar, Tuesday looks good so far, but she knows Mommy has to take Maddie to gymnastics at 10 but should be okay in the afternoon.

Willow nods her head in complete understanding. Windi overhears and asks *Is there more than us?* They are very confused about that concept!
Windi runs over and grabs the jar of fireflies that the girls have brought to Gem. She gives it a good shake thinking that will make them light up.....

Willow finds a note that mama left in her backpack. It says that a friend is coming over for burgers so mama will be busy for a little while. Willow reads that she and Windi are allowed to stay for the fireworks, but that Willow is responsible for Windi. Mama knows that Windi gets frightened very easily.
Willow grins and wonders what her sister would do if Fred sneaks up behind her with a sparkler????

Gem has asked her mommy if the kitties can have pony rides. Mommy says yes! Mommy will lead the pony around so that it doesn't go too fast. Nora wants everyone to know that the pony is very strong and can hold even the big kitties (she was little worried about this). Who would like a ride?

Windi is precariously perched on the back of the pony, who is in some discomfort at finding claws embedded in his hide. Windi looks down at her sister and wails,
*I wish that Ruggles and Rotley were here to see how brave I am!* She just has time to wipe her nose before the pony takes off.
*Yee-Haw!!* yells Willow, in a voice that she hopes will bolster her sister's confidence. Knowing Windi, Willow covers her eyes to avoid watching the inevitable......

and while Spice waits for her ride, she sees Velvet go over to little Andy, taps him on the shoulder, says "smooches smooches", grabs Andy and picks him up, and smooches him on the side of his muzzle...all in good fun...
Andy, however, did not see it as fun, say "bleech" as he wipes his muzzle, and runs off as fast as his little feet will carry him.
Clark, Cricket, and Velvet laugh and high 5 each other...it served Andy right...

Fred takes Misu's paw and Gem's paw and leads them to the table so they can partake in all the yummy food. He pulls out the chairs for both the ladies and making sure Gem is at the head of the table. He sits between them both and thinks he is the luckiest kitty in the world.
