  1. Good morning, Everyone! I'm suppose to be off fixing breakfast but have to wait because husband is watching the final kilometers of the Tour de France. No doubt he will be inspired for his bike ride tomorrow morning!

Let's see.. is there any chai tea? And eggs Benedict? I'm off to kind of a slow start this morning. Does anyone else every have those nights when it seems as though you have a really bad dream that lasts all night long? I woke up not being to remember the dream, but knew it was bad. Hate that!

  2. Awwww, sorry about your bad dream, WWM!
I hadn't realized The Tour De France had started. I may have to watch that instead of the tennis!

  3. Started yesterday, GD. So for three weeks my bike obsessed better half will be glued to the TV in the mornings!

  4. I like watching the Tour, too, and I'm not bike-obsessed. I'm getting very upset with the tennis right now and will have to change the channel soon :( If it's still on, maybe I'll watch some of the tour.

  5. Well, hopefully they will actually manage to have a clean Tour this year. If not, I think it will be the end of bicycle racing.

  6. Good Morning. I think I'd like some french toast amd bacon. Yum. And some of that cranberry juice. Miu, I agree must have caffeine to live LOL

  7. Hey, GD, would the boys like to pop through the wormhole and join George in watching the tennis? When I turned it on he jumped up on the arm of his favorite chair and his head was literally going back & forth like he was following the action.

Oh, and for the record, we're rooting for Federer too. Maybe you should keep the boys at home, to distract you.

  8. Kilroy, I think at this point, my yelling is scaring the poor boys! How cute that George likes watching tennis! My boys will watch sometimes, too, so they'd love to come for a visit and get away from their crazy Mama.
    Poor Federer! :(

  9. WWM, I can't find the biking! And the tennis is no longer good for my blood pressure ! :(

  10. GD, I see from another thread Bobby is back from Hawaii. Where is he off to next?

Posted 3 years ago by cricketsmama #

  11. Hmmmm, I think he may have a bit of a break now! I've been promising him that Mama will be spending more time at home, so he's tried not to plan too many trips so he can spend some quality time with his Mama!

  12. GD the rest of the house is getting ready to head to the church, but I rushed so I could watch the tennis match. Not what I had hoped for either. I have a wonderful french vanilla with a double shot of espresso--a double shot in the dark.

Hello to all and enjoy a peaceful day.

  14. is Milo too young to travel ???

  15. if it's a matter of no caffeine or having a good, well paying job, i'll give up the caffeine in a flash !!!

Posted 3 years ago by CSBM #

  16. No, Mi is 7 months old now. Time flies - he was 6 weeks when I got him! I think he's old enough to start traveling like his big bro.

And yeah, I'd take the good job over caffeine, too, especially right now. I'm not happy with the gym job now - figures! Arrrrgh! :(

  17. GD, the Tour is on a weird channel here, like Fx - I'll have to look it up.

Posted 3 years ago by WillowandWindismom #

  18. FX, really? I'm watching the girls' gymnastics now, but I'd like to take a look at the Tour, too.

  19. is it the XBF ???

Posted 3 years ago by CSBM #

  20. would Mi like to visit with Velvet and Spice for a few days ? Binghamton is a lovely place, not exciting mind you, but lots of hills and valleys and lush green foliage...

Posted 3 years ago by CSBM #

  21. I think the channel is called Versus.

Posted 3 years ago by WillowandWindismom #

  22. I don't have versus!!! :(

Milo would love to come visit, Cheri!!! I'll send him right now!
It's not XBF that's bothering me (well, he bothers me sometimes, too... :)), it's the way things are run there. The Boss Lady is nuts! I can't believe she took back the moron we voted off (I can't believe we had to do that in the first place!), especially after she warned us he's the type to freak out and show up with a gun!!!!! XBF has been mentioning for a long time that this Boss woman can be quite nuts, and I totally agree. I just really don't like the way things are run there. Everyone was upset that the moron came back, but everyone was acting like nothing had happened. I hate when people act all fake and they all did.
Also, though most of the people there are nice and all I just sort of feel like I don't fit in there. There's a bunch of twenty-ish people and then a bunch of people pretending to be twenty-ish. Partying, showing up late or not at all for training sessions etc. And the mood swings!!!! I suspect they have to do with all the "supplements" these people are taking in - you never know what you're going to get. I'm used to working with more grown-up, serious and responsible people, I guess.

Posted 3 years ago by GreatDane #

  23. are these the type of "supplements" people smoke ???

Posted 3 years ago by CSBM #

  24. Oh GD! Want to have a glass of Bailey's? And try to relax and remember this is your day off. Monday comes so soon.

Posted 3 years ago by miu #

  25. Nah, Cheri, steroids, creatine and who knows what.....

The other thing - I've never really known any trainers (other than tennis trainers, but they're different) and they strike me as very full of themselves. Maybe you have to be, to be a trainer, I don't know.

Hmmmmm, I'll have some Bailey's, Miu!

Posted 3 years ago by GreatDane #

  26. We have a super nice trainer at our gym, GD. He's from Africa. I don't work with the trainers. I'd like to, but it's too $$$$. But I have watched Thomas working with other people and I've been impressed. He actually seems to consider the fitness level of each person individually!!! Some trainers don't do that.

We don't have too many at our gym that take supplements, I don't think. Most are "ordinary" people like me (only younger!) that just come to work their a$$es off!

Posted 3 years ago by WillowandWindismom #

  27. Unfortunately ours - most of them - don't! Lazy, moody, self-involved most of them. There are a couple of nice ones, but really, most of them are driving me NUTS!!! Hmmmmm, maybe I'm just cranky today!
