  1. I just got off the phone with my daughter who is Nanny sitting and cat sitting for her best friend, who with her Mom are on a 3 week trip across europe(They left yesterday) Nanny is a 84 year old in frail health woman. She was supposed to be staying at a nursing home but she started running a fever yesterday and was taken to the doctor and was told she has an upper respitory infection, Well today Nanny was taken over to her sons house for the day(My daughter had to work) because she couldn't go to nursing home sick... well she was running a fever this afternoon of 102*F her son took her to the hospital she has pmonia(SP?) and has a lot of DNR's (she was admitted to the hospital)please pray that she recovers quickly so my daughter doesn't have to deal with this and her friend and her Mom can enjoy there trip!
Thanks for the prayers and white light!
    Peace

  15. Update on Nanny!
Yesterday Nanny took a turn for the worse, The doctors have inserted a feeding tube and the outlook is not good! My Daughters friend and Mom flew in at 3am this morning they cut there trip short by 10 days. I picked them up at the airport and we went right to the hospital(there still there), The doctor is being very negative and saying it is just a matter of time before Nanny heads to heaven. Please keep all of us in your prayerS
    Peace

  18. Dorie I am so sorry to hear this. I have to say that I am so thankful that they could get back in time. I had my husband on the first flight home when the doctors said time was short but it wasn't quick enough. May Nanny find peace and the family find love and strength as they grieve.

  26. My mom is a hospice worker. I have to agree with Buttercup, they will be able to be there to give care to the family as well. I think it makes all the difference in the world having that outside support for the family too.
