My friend Brenda sent me this prayer request. I am posting it word for word because she describes the situation better than I could:
"I would like to ask all of you for a favor. Some of you already know Miss Victoria. She's my dearest friend & she called today to tell me her sister has cancer through out her whole body. They postponed her surgery today, so she can get all her affair's in order. They don't expect her to make it through it tomorrow. She has a young daughter (Lilly) that Miss Victoria will take in & raise, just in case. Needless to say, the family is devastated. I can't be with her because I can't leave Mother alone for more than an hour at a time & I'm so frustrated. I wish there were two of me. I would please ask you to keep her family in your prayer's & thought's & ask your church's and/or prayer chain's to do the same. My heart is broken & I feel so helpless. This is all I can do for her. I wish I could do more. Thank you for taking the time to read this & thank you, from my heart, for your help.
