TDK White Light needed urgently.

  1. I just got a txt message from KK, who is somewhere in the US. Their cat Dara the Siamese is very ill. Dara and Spike are in the cattery while the family are away, Dara has had her annual shots and is ill and may have Aids. They are waiting for the specialist to see her and may have to put in a feeding tube. KK received a call from the cattery and has since spoken to the vet. Prayers and Healing White Light for Dara please.

  2. Oh No! I thought Dara was an inside only kitty and up to date on shots how could this have happened? Was it the catteries fault?

    I am praying Dara pulls through!

  5. Oh No! I hope Dara is OK,she might have just stopped eating due to the stress of being in a cattery and they can develop feline hepatic lipidosis from rapid loss of weight, It is reversible.

  6. Dara is an indoor/outdoor cat. In NZ cats are vaccinated for feline calicivirus,feline rhinotracheitis,and live attenuated feline panleucopenia virus, at least that's what Shadz gets annually. Kk and family will be home in a couple of days so I hope Dara has made positive progress by then.

  12. Oh no, poor Dara :(
    Most cats in NZ are indoor/outdoor cats. There's very few predators (mainly human and canine) for cats in NZ.
    Get better Dara.

  13. Thanks guys for your white light and prayers. And thanks MS for starting this thread.
    Dara is very used to the cattery so this is not a stress induced illness. It would appear to be a severe reaction to her vaccination booster (which we had forgotten to have done before we left and our cattery kindly took her in to the vet for us. She may have contracted feline aids from a fight one time and therefore her immune system is compromised and she is not recovering from her vaccination.
    Keep sending the white light. We'll be home on Sunday!

  23. Don't know when I'll be able to update you as KK is on her long route home and may not be able to contact the cattery/vet until she has crossed the Pacific which takes at least 12 hours. Lots of Healing White Light for Dara the smoocher.
