  1. as id mentioned before i was watng for the auctioneer. well, she came today. she was a nice older lady. she helped us unearth some of my father's old train and trolley stuff. after she left, we called an old friend of the family. he was recovering from surgery, but he got us n contact with the son of another friend of the family. both of these people, and some cousins and an uncle belonged to a trolley group with my parents. i used to go to the museum as a kid. well, he gave me the website of the museum. i had wondered what ever happened to it, and am glad they are thriving. i hope to join the group and continue this work, because for me, it's not only upholding family tradition, but i have a love of trolleys n trains that hasn't been able to floursh as i wished. here's the link - http://rockhilltrolley.org/

  2. I love this site Pattie...what a fun museum to go to. I imagine a gathering of train and trolley co-horts could be very exciting...talking 'the old days' and 'in the beginning days'...No doubt great 'Memories'... :)

  3. Hi Pattie - this site brought back memories! My Dad loved trains and I'm sure he's been to this museum. His model train platform was a lifelong project. He'd finish it, then take it all apart and do it again another way. A project never meant to be finished...

yea karen! it made me feel good because this was the happier times in my life, when my father was happy and healthy and when our life was better, and things were sunny. then as my father got more ill, these times were nothing but sweet memories. but im glad that the musuem still exists. i thought it had folded up n become abandonded long ago..or worse. but its still going, and after losing so manyt hings in my life, its great to have this still going
