Greetings and love being here

  1. Hi all...I absolutely love this site. It is wonderful getting a daily kitten fix. At present I do not have a forever cat but when I do everyone will know. I do foster cats and kittens (plus an occasional guinea pig, hampsters, and bunnies) for The Animal Humane Society in Golden Valley (Mpls burb)for the last 3 years. When some don't make it it gets a bit difficult. I learned about fading kitten syndrome very early doing this. My peppercat28 comes from my last forever cat who lived to 28 YO. She was a wonderful loving old girl. I still work full time (although most in my age catagory are retrired)I'm divorced and a Care Manager for an insurance company. When I get my next forever cat I will send out margaritas...chips and homemade salsa to all!

    That had to be one amazing cat, 28YEARS??!!!?WOW! My cousin's next-door neighbors in Conn. for many years owned the Guiness' Book Heaviest Cat clocking in at 53POUNDS.!! LOL.
