OMG! A pox on that woman! I pray she NEVER has another cat. I've already told you about the woman I work with--she had her healthy 20-year-old cat put down because she couldn't take her with her.

I just do not undestand people like that all. Even if you don't like animals, although goodness knows why you would even have a cat then, living with anything for years must surely result in caring about them. How can anyone live with a animal for that long and clearly form no bond at all with it to the point where you can just 'dispose' of it because you are bored? I truly wonder what goes on in the heads of people like that.

some vets see it as another fee earned. i knew someone who had her dog spayed and when it came time to pick it up, the family had decided they didn't want the dog anymore, and the vet euthanized it, it was another fee for him, plain and simple...
i was about 12 at the time...

How very sad, I do hope that both furbabies crossed the bridge quickly and are enjoying a much better caring existence chasing butterflies and lying in the cool grasses watching birds.
