I have a white carpet area rug that I caught Sylvester eating yesterday. Just now he threw up undigested dry food until he was practically dry heaving. This occurred an hour ago. I picked up the carpet and put it in a closet so he cannot get to it anymore. I tried to get him to drink some water but he is just wandering around. He went and ate some dry food and then some wet food. I am going to continue to watch him and if he continues to throw up, will take him to the emergency vet place.
What has me perplexed is why he is eating the carpet. Last night when I offered him catnip he didn't want any of it which is totally the opposite of him. I am a bit concerned.
