     WWM...now I'm saying Wow...I also remember the exact spot I was at when news came out that Kennedy had been shot. I was pretty young then (only 11 yrs.)but I remember the moment quite clearly.

     Me, too. I was in class, and one of the ninth-graders walked in and interrupted Sister Mary Grace (brave girl!) with the announcement, "The president has been shot."

     A radio was plugged in and we all huddled around it, crying and praying.

     In that one terrible moment, America lost its innocence.

     I wasn't born then and I remember never being taught anything with that part of American History until college and even then it was just touched on briefly. My parents were the ones that told me how they were affected. I know that my daughter has never had that part of history taught in class.

     I remember too..I was in my 7th grade class..Mrs. Sorenson (who could have been Jackie Kennedy's sister..she looked so much like her) was called out of class and while we waited we watched her through the glass in the door as she buried her face in her hands and cried. Soon she came in and announced the news to us. I remembered feeling such shock..

     GD, I have been off-line with pain issues and just now found out this. I hope you and Bobby are doing better? Poor Bobby! I know the vet will be able to help him and things will be all right--feel it in my bones! ;-)
