  2. Well, of course, but when are you going to sleep????

Posted 1 year ago by WillowandWindismom #

  3. It's already past midnight here. So don't tell me you just woke up!

  4. Sleep is for sissies, WWM--just ask AZDeb!

Posted 1 year ago by gatakitty #

  5. LOL, no it's 4:17 pm here!

  6. Hi, WWM! My First Customer!
    *blushing*

Well, I planned to go sleeping in a few minutes...
    *voice fades away*

  7. Hi, GK! A woman with an impeccable sense of humour!

Posted 1 year ago by miu #

  8. Well, y'all may be right about the sleep is for sissies, because I don't get too much of it, either!

Posted 1 year ago by WillowandWindismom #

  9. Yeah, sleep is for people who don't have kids--or, according to Great Dane, pets.

  10. Here are Sven, Börje, Örjan and some other - uh - professional masseurs practising their skills.

  11. Hi! teehee...miu...I really enjoyed the scandinavian hunks! Woooo..had to turn up the a/c! lol!

I figure the kitties all keep the inventory on sleep issues here at my house. They seem to instinctively know when they can get away with depriving me of what I consider necessary downtime. The trampoline traffic on my bed rarely occurs before 6:00 am..but has been known to occur as early as 4:45!

  12. LOL! The kitties are smart... I have heard their brains are about the size of a walnut but Oh boy! They know how to use what they have got!

  13. Last week while in Austin, Ladybug and I bought collars for Baby Sally Semi-Meezer and her sweet babboo, Linus (pink for her, blue for him). I expected both to vehemently protest, but Sally took to her collar as soon as she realized that her mewomy, Ladybug, was jingling, too (thanks to the scads of silver bangle bracelets she likes to wear). The collar is a non-issue with the Semi-Meezer.

Linus, on the other hand, is not as dumb and lazy as we thought. OK, he's still lazy, but it took him about 5 minutes to learn how to trip the cat-safety break inherent in collars today. He can (and does) remove the collar at will, and sooner rather than later.

  14. LOL at Linus - yep; Mili can and does do that too. Lately, for some reason, she has been leaving the collar alone. Maybe she figured out I'd put it right back on her anyway.

  15. lol, or like my favorite saying, 'you can sleep when you are dead'....(there is even a country song now with that saying, I just can't remember who sings it) ok its way over-rated and there are many times that I do wish I could sleep more than a couple of hours...

  16. Ohhhhh Linus! You sneaky little smarty paws!

Posted 1 year ago by Karenopa #

  17. What's even funnier is, lazy as he is, he likes playing with Sally's feather-on-a-stick toy. Thing is, this makes Baby Sally Semi-Meezer EXTREMELY jealous! If looks could kill, you'd be reading my obituary right now.

  18. Hello(peeps in with bleary eyes). I was up so late on the Night Shift and now here's the Right Shift. Can't stay long as I have to wash my hair and then get it cut.

    Posted 1 year ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  19. MS: Let me cut it for you! How do you like it?

Posted 1 year ago by miu #

  20. Okay, I ate too much for lunch and feeling very lazy now. I have two and half hours to go as I came in late due to needing to do something before work...I want to go home now......waaahh!

Sylvester's collar is now a play toy since he has gotten too big for it. He never liked it anyways. Good luck with trying to put a collar on Mia. I think it would last about 10 seconds.

  21. Have to ask first, do you know how to cut hair? Like a hairdresser? Secondly, I have very thick hair with a mind of its own. Thirdly, thanks for the offer but I would hate to upset my current hair cutting whizz, she comes to me for the cutting session.

    Posted 1 year ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  22. MS, you are lucky to have thick hair. Mine is just fine and wimpy. No volume whatsoever and just lays there. I would rather have thick wild hair then my current hair.

  23. Hi all!!! It's 7:16pm here and hubby is aching from something in his intestine. It feels like a bump. He is calling the Dr. tomorrow, he thinks it's diverticulitis and/or a hernia. Great.
Maddie is watching Dora the explorer and will be going to bed at 9.

MS, I have thick, thick hair too. It is also pin straight. Pain in the butt.
I love having thick hair IF I could do something with it.

  24. Whoa.... I already had hot flashes! And now I must deal with the Scandinavian Hunks???? *where did I leave that fan?????*

  25. Ummm, where is it, CM? Femoral area? Has your husband had a prior abdominal surgery?

Posted 1 year ago by WillowandWindismom #

  26. it's lower left area..He has never had any surgeries. I thought maybe he just had to go to the bathroom, but it's been around since last night and it hurts him. He is trying to diagnosis himself which I told him not to do so he is convinced its one of the two mentioned. I told him to call the dr and he will most likely need an x-ray

Posted 1 year ago by cricketsmama #

  27. A good surgeon can detect a hernia by palpitation, CM. A hernia is a weakness in the abdominal wall, which is why I wondered if there had been previous surgeries.

This is me as a nurse, but generally speaking, self-diagnosis is a very bad thing. Better safe than sorry is always my motto!

Posted 1 year ago by WillowandWindismom #

  28. My motto too, WWM - "better safe than sorry". If it is a lump that hurts and has been there since last night, me thinks a doctor visit would be a good idea. Only our TDK nurses would know best.

Posted 1 year ago by SylvesterMiasMomma #

  29. I just always err on the side of caution. It would really be impossible for us to tell you this way, CM. Sometimes men feel really stupid going to the doctor and maybe being told that it's "nothing". But better nothing, and a price of a doctor's visit, than to sit on something that is a problem.

Posted 1 year ago by WillowandWindismom #

  30. I am glad he is calling him tomorrow. He needs to see what is wrong but and not to be mean, but he is such a whiner and a baby when he doesn't feel good, it's like I have a baby and a toddler. He's upstairs in bed now.
