Great, just had a big rumble of thunder that could be felt through the floor and it is pouring down outside. I may not be on her much longer if the storm comes closer. Goodnight if that is what happens.

Well I'm still here, just the one rumble and lots of wind and what sounded like hail on the windows and now - nothing. Hope it stays that way. I get nervous when we have very short sharp storms like that, ever since I experienced a wee tornado many years ago. I'm feeling the cold a bit tonight because I had my ears lowered today, bbrrrr.

How much did they cut off your hair? Been thinking of getting mine trimmed but just haven't done it yet. Tornado's can be a tad bit worrisome.

My hair is really thick but sits just below my collar, I asked the hair dresser to give it a good all over cut so it is relatively short but still thick. We experiment on my hair a lot as it grows very quickly and any bad cut doesn't last much longer than a couple of weeks. It's has a wee bit of a kink to it, especially when we thin it. This time we didn't thin it,she cut into the ends a different way. Another experiment. I used to have long hair about 10-12 years ago, I could sit on it but got tired of it in the summer,too hot to have hanging around and too hot tied back so off it all came.

been there done that, mine used to be waist length and now its just past my shoulders with natural waves and totally gray/white since almost 2 years ago...started getting gray @ 16 yrs old and finally decided to just go with it rather than dying it all the time to auburn...mine grows fast too, so cuts never really screw it up like yours.

I also have that white colour on the sides a bit. Red hair loses its colour and goes a lovely white as opposed to grey. My colour is hard to describe now, it's a deep auburnish without the real red. Lost more of the red from it with each pregnancy.
